Hello, I have been trying to find a thread were there's people that will be applying next application period or in 2019. I am currently taking physiology, math, and sociology. After this semester I only have microbiology and I will be done with all my pre requisites. Anybody know what was the cutoff for 2017 at Mic or at delta in stockton?

Points cutoff? MJC was 74, I believe. I'm curious how that will change with the new MSPAR. Delta I'm not sure, but I have a friend there who had around 65, was #18 on the wait list, and still made it in the program!

Each year it keeps on getting more and more competitive but I have faith that I will get into the program, hopefully to MJC's. MissMoTheMrs, when will you be applying, and if you don't mind me asking with how many points?

I have faith you will too, especially with that attitude!

I'm ready to apply to both programs now. I'm at 85 points for MJC, and I think 88 for Delta. Are you applying at Delta in the Fall? Or waiting for next year for MJC?

I'm waiting for spring of 2019 to apply to both programs, unless I take microbiology and pharmacology during the summer I will be able to apply at Delta this Fall. Now I was told that all pre requisites are the same for MJC and Delta except Delta requires pharmacology, is that correct?

By the way 85 and 88 are both high points! That is awesome! Good luck, I'm sure you will get in on your first try.

Thanks! I'm hopeful! I think the pharmacology is just one of the optional classes at Delta that gives you an extra point. But they only give one point, so if you already have nutrition, or one of the others, then you've already got the point. Otherwise everything is pretty much the same.

I'm also applying for Spring of 2018 with 78 points. However, if I can renew my CNA certificate I will apply with 81. The cutoff keeps getting higher and higher which worries me. I work as a CNA at Memorial and have asked student MJC nurses how many points they had when they applied, and I've heard 74, 76, and also in the 80s. But of course I still get anxious about getting in. Has anyone heard any rumors what the cut off could be for this year? Especially with the new MSPAR. People are saying it can't possibly get much higher than 75
