Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????
I don't want to get my hopes either, but now that there is 20% lottery I'm assuming they wouldn't want supporting documents from every qualified applicant,. That seems a lot of unnecessary paperwork to have to go through. But I could be wrong! I know it's hard we are all hearing conflicting information.

Okay so this was his exact wording; "I'm not sure if all the students being asked for documentation are the ones that will be in the program. The nursing program is just verifying the points and then they probably will run the merit based ones and the lottery group" He also said if we did ALL our classes at MJC no official documents needed to be turned in.
I mean transcripts not documents ?
It has to be that all qualifying(60+ points) for lottery were selected for supporting documents.

I would just do it just in case. They have their course catalogs in the library.
