MJC allnurses 2020

Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

I was told it has to be one of them, the ADN counselors

Hi. It can be signed by any counselor. I emailed and asked before app period because my courses are not take at mjc.

Will we still need an official transcript if we did all our coursework at MJC?

I applied in the first couple of days and did not get an email confirmation. As long as your application says it's submitted you should be good. I had checked with the school and they said they had trouble with the confirmation emails in the beginning of the week.

Update on nursing application is out saying if you were selected to submit supporting docs.
I got selected to submit documentation.
I haven’t gotten an email yet stating where I should turn in the docs though.

I haven't gotten the e-mail yet but I was told documents are to be submitted at Glacier Hall but definitely reach out to the counselors to confirm.

Does anyone know how many people are asked to provide supporting documents? Or is everyone that is qualified asked?

I was told that they are going to be asking for documents from a lot of people since there will be a higher number of qualified candidates that qualify for the lottery portion.

Per Marcos, they will send out emails to provide supporting documents to 100 students. 80 students based on the highest points submitted and 20 students picked via lottery.

I didn't get an official e-mail yet but I checked my online applications status and I am qualified to submit documents. I just have to wait for the e-mail stating when and where officially.

"Application Status: SELECTED TO PROVIDE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION SINCE 02/18/2020 11:18:02"

everyone check your online nursing app summary! It's posted on the top right corner.
