Hi guys! I thought it would be a great idea to start a new thread for those of us who are planning on applying to Modesto Junior College RN program. It would be great if we would all share with how many points we are applying with, this would give us an idea to see what are our chances are on getting in the program. With all the new changes, it is hard to tell what the cutoff on the points will be. I will be retaking my TEAS and hoping to apply with maybe 80 points or so. Hopefully ?????

They accept 100 students per application period, 50 start this Fall, and 50 the following Spring semester.
Good luck!

I didn't do as well as I would have liked in Physio and am planning on retaking it at Stan State this spring semester. I know it won't help me in applying this year, but hopefully next year. Does anyone know if MJC's program allows retakes of prereqs? I have heard some schools won't accept the grade if you received a C or better the first time. I can't seem to find any info stating you can't retake prereqs on MJC's website. Thanks! Good luck to everyone applying this year!
I believe you can repeat courses as long as you get a petition approved but there are guidelines to the petition. You can contact Arianna Kennedy the
Enrollment Services Specialist for more info. I hope this helps.
I just submitted my application last week with 65 points but for the LVN to RN advance placement. I just wanted to throw the in in case there are others apply for the same.

I was told by one the counselors that they will be sending the info through our school e-mails tomorrow and Wednesday. Then those documents would need to be hand delivered to Glacier Hall on Thursday and Friday. All the info. will be explained in the e-mail.

Hello, did anyone get a Student email confirmation of their submitted application? It seems I didn’t get one but checked my application status and it was submitted.

I applied in the first couple of days and did not get an email confirmation. As long as your application says it's submitted you should be good. I had checked with the school and they said they had trouble with the confirmation emails in the beginning of the week.

No, I can't. Per the counselor, I have to take the course Nurse 259 (Transition to the RN role) first before I'm considered for advanced placement. I'm ineligible for it since I haven't taken that course yet.
