Missing clonazepam from narc box.. I was set up by ADON
OP, you have been given excellent advice in contacting your malpractice carrier, your attorney, and I would add your union if you are a member of one.
If your ADON has acted in an unethical way, then you can (and should) report this. Not knowing the details (and good for you, you shouldn't post details) if you believe diversion has occurred at your expense, report it. Your parent company website has reporting features. Use them.
Going forward, remember, it doesn't matter WHO it is, don't sign for a waste you don't see. Don't sign off on a drug you don't give. And don't co-sign for a narcotic until you know who it is for and see the order.
Nurses who divert will use any means necessary, at the expense of newer, inexperienced nurses who they perceive as not knowing better or not rocking a boat at the possible expense of their job.
With all that being said, be really sure about any allegations. And before even going there, get some legal advice.
OP has gotten all the advice s/he needs concerning the original post. However maybe OP could review this thread (and I'm sure there are plenty more) to see that new posters can and do come back from poor starts on AN.

(Although, for purposes of full disclosure, some posters were not willing to look past the initial blunder)
