Who is Taking Micro this summer? Here is a thread that we can all refer to for support. If you have any links to helpful websites please feel free to add them.
What text book is everyone using? At my school we use 'Microbiology-A Human Perspective'.

I'm taking Micro this summer.......June 6- July 28 or something like that!! I'm kinda intimidated, but I'll make it through!

I'm taking it May 30th-june 29th. 4 nights a week/4 hours per night. I cant wait for July to be here already.

i am in IL, taking micro this summer, a 6 week class from june 19 to july 28. Not sure on the book yet, i went to buy it, found out we are using a new book so can not get a used one and there are 2 books totalling over $200!!!We meet mon through theurs for 31/2 hrs, no tests but a quiz every day-25 pts I think. I met my teacher, she seems great.

Hey Michelle, I am taking Micro through the summer too - what are we thinking?!! I will be using "Microbiology - An Introduction" by Tortora/Funke/Case. I'll keep an eye on this thread for sure!
I will also be using that book for the microbio summer course. Yayness! :) I'm also taking the microbio lab, human nutrition, and stats. This will be a busy summer !

Count me as well! My class starts on 5/28 and goes through 7/6. We are using Microbiology by Black. Four days a week, 8-1 every day for lecture and lab. Yikes!
