Way to go everyone who has managed to pull off high grades in their micro class! I'm extremely happy for you guys! My final's tomorrow and I'm far from receiving an A in the class, but that's OK. The final's worth 200 points and I need 90 more points to pass the class so I'm praying I get over 90 points on it. I realllllly don't want to have to repeat micro because it's so difficult not to mention A LOT of work. I think I did more work in this micro class than I did in any other class my entire years spent at college. It's ridiculous, but I've learned so much from it.

Ally, several people have said the same thing in my class, including those who already had degrees. It was a tough class, so I'm glad it was also terribly interesting to make up for the difficulty! I am still waiting to see the official grade posting. Good luck with your final tomorrow.

It looks as though I'll pull a b in lab and lecture. I'm not happy since I was always an A student but I'll take it. Some of my classmates have failed completely. I had a 96 going into the final of lab. I got a c on my final which was 50% of grade and now I've got an 86. Oh well. At least I survived!

I hope you surprise yourself and do even better than you think you will. I wish everyone could have had my instructor. He was awsome!!! He made the class very interesting, even though we didnt get to do any staining.

Foxyroxy, i'm glad you didn't give up!! now you are almost done and with a good grade!! I wish I would've visited this forum more often because we could've studied together. Are you going on the little trip to NWC?

Nope I am not touring NWC I didn't hear anything about it....... Do you have to be in the Nursing program to take the tour? Hope you did well in MICRO - I passed with a 77.8%. You had O'Brian right? Did she grade on a 3.0 scale?

Hi FoxyRoxy,

We went to the micro lab at NWC last week. It was interesting. Professor Mack was there. Maybe only O'Briens class went. I still have my final to take tomorrow night. I will get an A in the class though because our last test is open book and we got 50pts to take home. She graded 92% A, 84%B,76-83 C...

I am so glad you stuck it out and passed...now it's all over with. Are you taking summer classes?

Yikes! What's up with everyone grading on 3.0 scales? I guess it's to prepare us for our tough future in Nursing school!

I am so proud of you, an A!!!!!! I think that calls for a Margarita or two! Hehe! You must feel like a million bucks!

I don't believe the tour was offered to our class. However, Mack did mention to us the last day of class that if we ever had an oppertunity to tour a hospital that we deffinitely should do so. Hmmm.....I wish I could of gone.

I am so thankful I stuck it out..... It's so not the grade I was hoping for but I guess it will do. Between moving, finding out my boyfriend's mom has a year to live, and working I felt like this semester was never going to end. I really wanted to do summer school, but I think I need a breather before I get burnt out.

How are things for you? Are you heading to Northern was it? Are you doing the summer school thing?

Yeah, finished!! I need a margarita! I do feel pretty good..it doesn't hurt that I have the whole summer off. I think you should be proud of your grade and proud you pulled through...I know people who gave up. I am sorry to hear about your bf's mom. It sounds like you could really use a break. I am heading to NIU in the fall..until then it's sun and fun!
