Yeah, finished!! I need a margarita! I do feel pretty good..it doesn't hurt that I have the whole summer off. I think you should be proud of your grade and proud you pulled through...I know people who gave up. I am sorry to hear about your bf's mom. It sounds like you could really use a break. I am heading to NIU in the fall..until then it's sun and fun!

I still have a week feels like its been dragging on forever with everyone else finishing so early!

We turned in our unknown papers I got the unknown correct yay! its only 15 points of the grade but atleast I have a chance at an A now, if I got it wrong the highest I can hope for was a B.

Hi, I've been a member for awhile here but haven't posted anything in a long while. I hope you don't mind me asking but I would really appreciate your help! I will be taking Micro this Fall '07 and am wondering what professor(s) stand out above the rest. This is the first time I have taken a science course at El Centro and am unfamiliar with the professors so just hoping for a bit of guidance. It is my last course before applying at the end of Feb for Fall '08 and I need to do well not just float along. You get the idea. Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you heard of Ratemyproffesor.com?

I never register for a class until I have read a review. I don't always get to pick my teacher but atleast I know how others have felt about him/her and get a basic idea. I have found it to be very accurate, although you can read who is bitter and didn't study vs, students working hard and teacher just being difficult.

Ratemyprofessor.com would be a lot better if people actually took the time to write a thought-out, honest review! I totally agree that there are a lot of people who rate on there that just got a bad grade, probably from not studying. But, it can be helpful. I would also try to see if you can find anyone on allnurses that is going to your school (try the state forums)...I've gotten some good advice that way. Good luck!

I have had very good luck so far, there are a few who just sound bitter, but most of them have been very insightful. I always write a review myself too no matter what I thought of the class.

i have just taken my micro classes this summer... and boy.. it's really interesting and fun!!! you get to memorize ol d microorganisms and when you get out of the class, and you see the things associated with it, you'll really have fun!!!
