Just bought my micro book today, so thought we needed to have a thread.
Classes start August 22. When do yours start?
What text are you using? We're using Tortora.
And are you taking lab too? Our lab is worth 2 credits, and I've heard with the amount of work you need to do, it should be more.

I don't know what I need on my final to keep my A. I wish I did. But since my online class started over again mid-semester because we got our first instructor fired for completely ignoring our class , there has been a ton of quizzes, labs and a major research paper all due this past week. Our second instructor hasn't had a chance to grade all of it yet. I'm most interested in what I got on my research paper since it's 20% of our final grade. I've probably got somewhere around a 93/94 quiz average (30% of final grade) and I know I got a 97 on the midterm (25% of final grade.) The final is 25% also. Dang! Wish I knew about that blasted research paper, but I thoroughly understand my professor is swamped. She REALLY bent over backwards to help us out with the H*LL that our class was when it got handed to her. Still I can't seem to get motivated to study. Near as I can figure, a 75 on the final would probably keep my A. An 80 definately would.
YIPEE!!!!!
I got a 99% on my lab final! I was hoping for at least a 90%!
Now I only have to get a 51% on the lecture final to keep my A!!
I think I'll pop a top! I love not having to stress over a final! Of course I will study:rotfl: I actually have a 97.6% and would love to keep it up there. It's only personal, since my instructor (best one I have ever had) doesn't give A+ or A-, just a straight A. He gives +'s for all other grades. Just once I would like to have an A+ on my transcript, but now all is lost, since I start nursing school in a month and just hope to remember what an A feels like.
Good luck on finals

Good luck everyone! :)
Hated the thought of leaving someone out of our little group! Good luck on your final! Jitters too!
Woogy
ps..it's 10pm and I haven't even begun to study for my final tomorrow at 6pm. And I have loads of work to do tomorrow to get someones loan closed! It was supposed to happen today, but na...so, tomorrow the pressure is on. Who needs caffeine? Just have a final. Hey, I think I just came up with a name for a soda. "final". OK, I am officially looney.
I personally think that are brian cells get so busy studying, we don't have any left over to do other stuff. I can't even sleep with everything running around my head.
My good news is that my instructor for lab emailed me back and said I got my A. And I had a lot of points to spare too. :balloons:Highest scores in my section.
For those who are still in Micro finals hang on there. I was dreading it so much, but with all the studying I've done it was fine. (And I know you've all been hitting the books -- well except when we misplace our notes;))
Good Luck.

Just got home from my lecture final.:stone
It was a lot harder than I expected. He gave us an actual test from 1 year ago to practice on. I studied today, then took the practice test and got a 90%. I thought, "cool". Well, why is it that the actual test you are given is nowhere near the practice test that some lucky person received last year? Well, I probably won't find out my score until tomorrow. In the middle of the test, I reminded myself to relax and not stress about a few questions that were stumping me. After all, I only need to fail the test with at least a 51% to keep my A. So, that helped, and for the 1st time, I didn't get into my car afterwords and jump into my notes. I really didn't care. I figured it doesn't much matter now. You know why????????
Cause it's OVER!!!!!:rotfl:
Ahhhhhhhhhh.

YAY good for you! Time to relax after that Stat final!!!!
I can't get up the motivation to study for my final. I only need a 35% to maintain my A and ...well...that's not really putting pressure on me to hit the books- ha ha ha.
