If passed, allows people to not serve those who go against their beliefs. What do you think?
It's not. It's a bill being proposed. People who don't pay close attention to what their state legislators do would be floored by the crap that gets floated in those sessions. Most of it doesn't pass. I pay closer attention than most, and I'm sure I don't see everything. But let me tell you....I live in AZ and it's obvious some of the people we elect got their brains desert-baked with too much sun. I'm sure legislators elsewhere are just as bad, on both sides of the aisle.
It's disgusting. There is no passage in the Bible that prohibits us from providing care to anyone...and this Christian knows her Bible. Seriously I wish they'd shut up and quit making us look like monsters.
This has nothing to do with Christianity, since Christ ate with sinners and cured all sorts of people. This is more
about allowing bigots to practice their bigotry openly.
Like many here, Christians and other posted, I agree, this is just bad. This is a prime example of what happens when you have a so called "perfect" god speaking to humanity through an imperfect book (bible) filled with good but also contradicting atrocities where a God is both good and the biggest evil ever conceived by the mind of man. I wish people would realize that this book along with its god are the product of primitive men with fears and no way to explain the unknown. So just as most Christians focus on the good, others focus on the bad, that's what happens when you make that evil book your moral compass.

Psalm 26:5I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
Psalm 97:10
Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Psalm 101:3
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
Psalm 119:104
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

There's just no way I'm going to lay this at the foot of of a Bible stand and say "it's YOUR fault". Nope, not the Bible (nor the Torah, nor any other scripture you care to quote or misquote) is what makes people do stupid and immoral things. Stupid and immoral PEOPLE are the ones that do stupid and immoral things. People with ethics, a decent family formation and an innate moral compass don't need to be told what to do; people often seek guidance when they are confused, in which case something such as the Bible (or Torah, or whatever) IS a good compass to help one find one's way--IF one is seeking it.
Now, the morons who built this bit of turdy legislature aren't going to be able to grab onto anyone's sacred scriptures and say "THIS is why it HAS to be done!" Or, more accurately, while they MIGHT do this.....they'd be downright WRONG.
It's not G-d who is to blame for these idiots.....time for people to take responsibility for their OWN actions.
There is a passage in the Bible that states if you have the opportunity to do good to a person, do it. I cannot believe that this is really a law
Yeah, but there's also the burn the witches, stone the gays, stone the non-virgin female parts, too. People seem to pick the parts of their holy books they like, and throw out the rest. But it's all still in there.

Religion just freaks me out... It creates imaginary divisions.
