Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

most likely the majority of second batch will come out Monday.. possibly even very late Friday since our deadline was at 4:30 Friday. I believe the medical campus closes early on Fridays though but hopefully they send it out that afternoon so you have the weekend to get some things done :)

Yeah that makes sense! It most likely will be monday so they have time to figure out how many spots they have left. I wonder how many that'll be...

Did you only apply to accelerated?

Has anyone done the background check yet? I initiated the process last Thursday, via the weblink they gave us and I also went and got the fingerprints taken last Friday. The guy at the fingerprint place said they would send results directly to MDC. However, on American Data Bank it is required that we submit a copy of our background check. Does anyone know how/when we will receive the background check results?? Thank you :)

Yes, only to accelerated. I think you have a really good chance of getting into both programs honestly. I can only imagine how anxious you must be!

I received the following email. Did you receive this as well? I suppose we pick it up at that location and upload it? I wonder if that will be necessary or if we just upload this confirmation sheet.

I was curious about that too. Do we need to upload those results to the American Data Bank before the 27th too ? Where do I get the results so I can submit them?
