Miami Dade College Spring 2015 RN Program

Hi all!

I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)

Thanks so much for posting this Xxlita, very helpful. I have not received an email like this so now I am wondering.

I really think it is weird that they actually do have the results at the Dean's office, but that we have to pick it up there and then still upload it into American Data Bank. That just seems like an unncessary extra step...

Hi oscararnold. In looking at the American Data Bank account, it looks like we definitely need to submit the background check too. Apparentlyl the school has the results though. Really makes no sense that MDC gets the results, but we have to go and pick them up and then upload them. If I don't get an email tomorrow I will call MDC on Monday.

Hi Janna and Oscararnold! You definitely need to go to pick up your background check result at Dean's office and upload into American data bank. I went today and it's the same way as when you turned in your response form, you have to sign your name on the front desk paper and fill out another paper. Remember to bring your drive licence ID!

Hello everyone so glad I found this page !!! I was wondering if anyone knows the range of GPA's that have already received acceptance emails? and if they are truly sending email by batches does anyone know the GPA ranges for them ? thanks again !!

Hi everybody! The information to be submitted to Databank is 7 days after orientation day. So don't stress out about it.
