Hi all!
I wanted to start a thread for all of the Spring 2015 MDC RN applicants. I finally finished all of my pre-req's, and have started studying for the NLN PAX RN exam. I am hoping this thread, like many other MDC threads of the past, can help us all to build friendships, support one another, and most importantly, help us through this difficult process. Welcome! :)
Has anyone else tried to talk to someone at Medical campus about all the mandatory events??? I can't reach anyone. Called the chairperson, as well as a few other people I found in the directory. Only getting voice mails. Nobody responds to emails. I have a huge problem going to all 4 events, due to my full time job...:-/.

By 4 events do you mean the 2 day orientation, test taking strategies and orientation? Or am I missing one?
Hi Xxlita,
I meant the orientation on 11/20 (or 21 for accelerated), the 2-day boot camp, and then the testing session on 12/16. So really 3 events, but 4 full days in total. I really don't know how to do this without getting in major trouble at work. Just was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem with all this. I heard in prior semesters they offered some of the events on weekends, but obviously not this time...
That's a good question, I don't know. When I Google Jackson Plaza and Jackson North it's two different places. Idk if the google locations are the actual locations. It looks like on Tuesdays we go to one location and Wednesdays we go to the second location. If anyone knows for sure, please let us know :)
Jackson Plaza is a nursing home close to Miami Dade and Jackson north is the old Parkway hospital off 168rd or

Yup I'm one of the people that needs to quit their job! I did my fingerprints Tuesday in the coral gables location and got the email Wednesday. However, I didn't receive it to my miami dade email. I got it at the email I wrote on the b/g check paper. So check that email, and spam folders. If your handwriting isn't great maybe they wrote it wrong but your info should still be at the deans office.
