  1. Sperkyperk, I think that is a good idea also. So we can all stay connected with what is going on on our campus
  2. I got accepted!!!!!!!!! WOOP WOOP!!!!! Congrats Daniel and sperkyperk!!
  3. Sperkyperk, thank you so much!!! I will do the same for you as I know you had your interview last week.. and for Daniel also. I wish I could fast forward to tomorrow morning. It will be the first thing I do. My nerves and anxiety are now skyrocketing >.
  4. Congrats to everyone that has been accepted!!!!!! Ugh!!! I am still waiting, I really hope we all get accepted. I will definitely call tomorrow.
  5. Hey guys. We were told two weeks from our interview date which was April 2. So hopefully by this week we hear some good news!
  6. @sperkyperk, Just like @daniel.silva008 mentioned. The interview really is not that bad at all. I think most of us just have major anxiety that day. The Kaplan test as far as math, reading and writing are pretty basic knowledge. I did not study for reading or writing since I am stronger in those areas. I mainly focused on the math part which if you study from the Kaplan book for this part it helps ALOT. The Kaplan prepares you for MUCH more than what is on the exam in regards to math. For science, if you are using the Kaplan book I would not recommend spending too much time in that section with the book. If you want to do a quick review since it includes all Science (even though my test only consisted of A&P) it is better to be prepared because you never know. I went to MDC for my pre-reqs and we had an AMAZING A&P book. If that is your case I would recommend reading, studying and reviewing the chapter reviews at the end of each chapter. Good Luck!!
  7. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!! I have been reading the posts on this thread and it makes me feel a lot more calm. I am super anxious, I have my interview April 2nd.
  8. I got my interview letter! Scheduled my interview for April 2nd. I am super nervous. Good Luck to everyone!
  9. They told me May, but this is always the issue with MDC. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
  10. Hello everyone. Sorry for the extensive post. I am new to following this thread, but I was part of the Spring 2015 thread. I had applied for MDC Spring, but I was not accepted into that term. So I am applying again, but for Full-Time and Part-Time and also to NOVA. I hope this time around I do get accepted because all the anxiety and stress is really no fun. I went in January to fill out my application and the Assistant Director of the advisement department in Medical Campus told me they begin sending out acceptance letters (via email) sometime beginning in May. This part is the worst, to see some people getting accepted and others not makes everything a thousand times worse. Emails began going out for Spring around noon so I imagine it will be the same. Also, I was told there would be NO Entrance Exam but you will be required to do the Bootcamp. The competition at MDC is high and extremely competitive. I have a 3.61 overall GPA and a 3.41 in just Sciences just to have an idea of how competitive it is. The way it works is they start with the 4.0, they send out those letters and go from there. If there is space open once the first batch meets the deadline then they start moving down. If I am not mistaken, I think they did three batches for Spring before I got my rejection letter. Best Luck to ALL!!! Do well in all your classes, the sacrifice pays off clearly.
  11. I'm on your same boat. I'm a bit over all this mess and shenanigans. I did read in this forum that someone got accepted to the bridge program this Monday and their orientation was on Thursday. So that gave me a little hope. Also, someone mentioned that Homestead campus is full but when I had called they said that until we don't receive rejection letters that there are still spots open. So let's hope there is. Good luck to those of us still waiting and congratulations to those who made it!
  12. Yeah, rejection letters should be going out soon. This may just be my craziness and trying to figure out how much time we have left but the orientation for Generic is on November 20 and they require paper work at least 7 business days before orientation so we're looking at November 11 or sooner like BLNurse said
  13. Is anyone still waiting on being accepted? I'm losing hope considering the time that is available. I called yesterday and they told me that as long as you haven't received a rejection letter that means there is still space available. It's just a matter of them sending out emails still.
  14. Has anyone heard anything in regards to more acceptance letters going out? I've called, but, they tell me between this week and next week. I still haven't received a rejection letter, so that's a good thing. Still hoping and praying there's a spot open for those of us still waiting to hear something.
