Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

Hi all,

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

Hello all. I'm doing the Generic at Medical. Does anyone have an idea or know of where I can find information on class/clinical schedules? I work nights from 11p-7:30a and want to see how this may fit.

If you look under your course requirements, you can see what classes you will be taking the first semester. With that info, you can click on "search for classes" on MDC's home page and you can input the course name/number and they give you a list of all times and campuses for each particular class. Hope that helps :)

Anyone gotten second round emails yet ??? I am so anxious nothing yet ..........

I'm not sure how I got the scholarship, to be honest. I just got an email from MDC yesterday serving as the award letter. Also, I'm pretty sure they'll send out the next round of emails on Friday or Monday. Last year, the space between the first and second round of emails was 9 days. The 10th day will be on Monday. Just a guess, though!

question: why are people getting flu shots? I dont see them on checklist, are they required??

On the health record form it says we need to get the flu shot.
