Miami Dade College (MDC) Spring 2013 Gen. FT/PT& Accelerated Nursing program

Hi all,

I've just handed in my application to MDC for Spring '13.

Right now I'm overall score is 82 but I'm planning on retaking the TEAS in August to improve that.

If anyone has a book list from previous students, please send. I'd love to get cracking.

at last im able to log in now after weeks of not being able to log in...talking about lost password here...(just a segue)...

i got 2 acceptance letters on oct 18th, ft generic at homestead and accelerated medical campus...i'll be choosing ft generic due to the fact that there will gonna be a longer time window to prepare everthing sans the haste with accelerated option..

ive done cpr/bls, my med clearance, titers, drug tests, vaccines, ppds, fingerprinting are scheduled this week and next wk i might submit all the requirements prior to nov 2, if this due date really stands as posted..

question: when is the actual enrollment gonna be? the same day as the orientation dates?

I hope they give an extension to turn everything in because I don't think I'll have my health record form done by Nov. 2nd. My doctor appointment is on the 30th. =/

Well I did everything today here at MDC and the Wellness Center doesn't do flu shot or hep b vaccine. Just an FYI. Only the physical exam, titers, TB, and drug test.

I just spoke to advisement and the second batch of emails will be sent sometime between today and next Monday...

same here, my appointment with my PCP is on oct. 30th but did my labs today and tom. drug test scheduled on wens. ill go to walgreens on the weekend for the flu shot. the titer was covered by my insurance. they told me all the results will be in on the 30th. if all goes well i think i may be able to turn it all in on the 31st or 1st of nov.

If anyone starts to receive acceptances for the next round of emails, can you please post it here? From what I see a lot of people got accepted to the part-time that declining. It looks like the individuals that applied to multiple programs got accepted first...

On last year's thread they said that as long as everything is turned in by orientation we're fine. Maybe that goes for this year as well.

I still have not received my acceptance peanuter. They do it by rankings. So we need to keep on waiting

I declined a spot for the Homestead generic full time today so thats another spot open. Its also a zoo over there...
