  1. Hey futuresctRN! Im sort of in the same situation as you. I did my pre reqs in high school. I finished my LPN when I was 19 and now I am 20 doing going to start my RN on Tuesday (lpn to rn program). I have no kids and I am also supported by my parents since I don't have a car or job yet. This isn't something you should be ashamed of. Its never to early to start nursing school. If you feel you are mature enough to handle it then you will be capable to finish nursing school if you put your mind to it. I sometimes feel the same way you do but I often receive many compliments for starting my nursing career early. Im very proud that I did. I know I will feel out place since I will probably be the youngest in my class but that doesn't matter to me. As long as you do well nothing else matters. Good luck on your journey as a nurse :)
  2. Does anyone know if they're giving another extension to turn everything in?
  3. Hey Josh... on the Facebook group description can you also mention the bridge/transitional program just so that they know they can join also? Please.
  4. I still haven't received my background check email yet. I wonder whats taking so long. Should I call or what?
  5. I'm doing full time also. Guess we're going to be classmates =). I won't be working either. I've done the background check and I'm waiting on the email that they're supposed to send. My appointment for my physical is on Tuesday. More than likely I wont have everything in by Nov. 2nd like they want but I heard they give extensions.
  6. I got accepted too. Are you doing full time, part time, or online?
  7. On the health record form it says we need to get the flu shot.
  8. I also declined a full time generic spot at Medical.
  9. On last year's thread they said that as long as everything is turned in by orientation we're fine. Maybe that goes for this year as well.
  10. I hope they give an extension to turn everything in because I don't think I'll have my health record form done by Nov. 2nd. My doctor appointment is on the 30th. =/
  11. Did you finally decide if you're doing the online or face to face?
