Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
You can get the same stethoscope cheaper on-line, including the cost of shipping (and normally, no sales tax).
I got and ADC Adscope 601 with interchangeable parts for quite a bit less than the bookstore's price Classic II SE price. It seems very nice, though it's quite heavy.
I don't think there's anything the bookstore carries (other than proprietary items like embroidered clothing and name tags) that you can't get cheaper or far cheaper elsewhere. They have a very large markup on most things they carry.
Good afternoon future students and congrats to those who got accepted :) in MDC is my first time posting a question... I'm currently a BCC student but wanted to apply for MDC in winter term but I'm taking dep2004 and chm1032l during the fall I was wondering if i could still submit an application ?
i bought cardiology III from littman its one of the best and i figure if your going to use something for the rest of you career you shouldnt spare any expense in such an important piece of equipment, i heard student switched from the cheaper littman stethoscopes to the cardiology III and master cardiology because you can hear MUCH better and hear things you couldnt hear with the cheaper models.
Has anyone been able to take achive module at homestead campus ive been trying to set an appt. and Roger Williams said they are still working on getting it up and running there?????

Has anyone purchased their stethoscope yet? I'm deliberating between a Littmann Lightweight II SE and a Littmann Classic II SE... Any thoughts??
