Miami Dade College (MDC) Fall 2012 Full-time/Part-time Nursing program

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.

I will start:

I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)

A little annoyed I wasn't told about it while up at the bookstore. Wonder if they can send it to me or if I'm going to have to drive all the way back up there. Do you remember how much it was?

I haven't purchased it yet either. I called up there last week and a lady told me what it was. I'll probably head back up there today.

They told me it was $100 but they didn't have it when I went by. The lady said they will be there by the end of July, better call before going all the way there...

If I remember correctly, Dr. Brown said they couldn't have black bottoms but I could be wrong.

I don't know if the shoes are allowed to have any non-white parts, but I have a pair of New Balance walking shoes that look a lot like those that are extremely comfortable, have lasted a long time (still look good, nothing's falling apart). I wonder if NB (or something similar by another company) has all-white shoes like that.

I'm not sure that all-white is this year's black.

I bought mine at Skechers. They have a bunch of all white sneakers, to include several in a "work" line. You can check them out on the website, but I found the stores to have them cheaper. The new one on SW 184 St and US1 is nice, and I know there are several others in the county.
