Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start a thread for people interested in the MDC nursing program for fall 2012. I think if you shared your scores (TEAS V & GPA) and what track your applying to (full-time or part-time), it will give everyone an idea of where they stand.
I will start:
I have a 3.7 GPA and an 81% on the TEAS and looking to apply for the part-time program. I have the option of taking the TEAS 2 more times which I will be doing :)
Hello all! I'm a first timer! I avoided the forums during the application and waiting process because they made me so nervous. I don't know why lol. Anyway, I was accepted for the fall full time program and I signed up because I wanted to tell those that need their shots (lol):I have no insurance and I paid 175.75 for everything including drug panel. The place is called Solsta labs and there's one next to Kendall Regional hospital (bird road and 122ish) Now that I've been accepted I've been reading the threads and a HEARTFELT congratulations go out to all those that were accepted. Can't wait to see you soon!
hi, i'm also a first timer :) i got accepted into thenursing full-time generic track. still on the process of getting all the healthstuff done. i'm so scared of not having enough time to have everything readybefore july 6th... today i visited 3 different clinics and none of them woulddo such tests. question guys: on the nursing program web page says admittedstudents must turn their health record, cpr card copy, and criminal backgroundemail by june 29th. however, my admission email says the due date is july 6th.which date should be the right one? btw, congrats to all the acceptedstudents!!!
Yes, sil2012. I'm still waiting...patiently... a couple of my friends got accepted and many have declined seats in certain tracks. Basically, they checked all the tracks but, can only choose one, some seats will become available. So lets hold tight. I'm holding out until July 12, hence, the date, the day before orientation. Thats when the fat lady sings!!! Then plan B goes into effect. Boy this is tuff.:icon_roll
I wonder how many applicants they get for all the tracks. The number of applications is far greater than the number of applicants. I applied to three tracks, and declined two on Monday. (The adviser encouraged me to apply to the part time track, with the idea that it's best to cover all your bases.)
