Hello future nursing student friends! I've applied to MHCC, PCC, OHSU, CCC and Columbia Gorge in the Dalles. I wanted to start a thread to help ease some anxiety! What are everyone's stats? Where did you apply? What is your GPA? Do you hav work experience>? Did you do any preinterview point calculations? Where would you like to go?
I already answered my first question. My GPA is 3.84 and I have over 5 years experience as a medical assistant. According to my calculations at MHCC I will have 62 points, PCC 59, CCC 50, OHSU unknown, Columbia Gorge 53 (I think). I'd love to go to MHCC because it is close to my house but really any school will do. I'm hopful to get in this year, but it is my first year applying so fingers crossed. I'd love to hear from everyone else who is applying.
Does anyone know what date the proctored essays are for PCC and when interview invites will go out? The only thing on the website is that it's the 3rd week of April.. I'm hoping that schools don't overlap..
Also in regards to my application issue with MHCC, I'd asked the admissions woman if it was a late processing error and she said it had literally just gotten to the school on the 24th I keep
torturing myself wondering if I would've gotten in after seeing everyone get their interview invites. WAHHH
I'm scared I won't get an interview for PCC even though I did for MHCC. Wow your app got to the school the 24? That sucks how they won't make an exception
Hey update for all.. I contacted PCC and they said emails will be going out late next week/early first week of April. Proctored essays will be the 16th, 17th, 18th. The times are assigned.
THANK YOU. I've been checking my email probably every 90secs today. It's getting out of hand lol. Did they say what the point cut off was by any chance?
