MGH Direct-Entry Nursing 2014

I just sent in my application for MGH Direct-Entry Nursing 2014 and I was hoping to get in touch with other applicants. I applied for the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP. The wait is going to kill me! I'm wondering about other people's backgrounds (GPA, GRE scores, experience, etc.) and if anyone has an idea of who MGH accepts. Look forward to hearing from you!

I also applied here. My overall GPA is a 3.5 and my prereq GPA is a 3.8. I am very nervous. I am also having trouble figuring out how much each program costs..it isn't really cut and dry. Did you apply anywhere else?

I applied for PMHNP. Anyone else going for psych? Boston College is my first choice due to their shorter length, but I would still love to attend MGH. I heard it's a great program.

This thread is quiet as we all bite our nails waiting. I applied for the AG conc, but I heard the PMHNP concentration is particularly good at MGH. Good luck to everyone!

Hi, I'm thinking about accelerated programs - MGH, Simmons... Between Tuition 60K and living/trans/HI/books... @ 100K total cost.

Does anyone know what the job market for new nurses looks like now in Major Boston Hospitals? Who's getting the jobs...How?...What are the starting salaries?

Hi Everyone!

I've applied to MGH Direct Entry for the FNP. I'm anxious to hear back as well! @mzaur I also looked through the thread from last year so I'm hoping we find out in early Feb! Fingers crossed!

I'm applying to Simmons's program as well, but MGH is my #1 choice. Anyone else apply for the FNP?
