Northeastern accelerated nursing program
Hi! How is the Northeastern accelerated program? I'm considering an accelerated BS to BSN. I'm concerned about job prospects. Where does NE place you for clinicals? Do all grads get good jobs quickly? What are the starting salaries ? Thanks :)

Northeastern Hybrid Direct Entry Nursing Spring 2014
Hi, Anyone in the accelerated BSN program at NorthEastern? I'm wondering where they place you for clinicals? And, where do grads succeed in getting jobs? The program is 60K ... What are the starting salaries of Northeastern BSN grads? I just spoke with their "admissions" rep. It does feel like a commercial operation. Who has the REAL DEAL?

pay scale for boston RN's?
Hi, Trying to figure out if I can afford to do an accelerated program at the age of 57....Working as a nurse for at least 10 years... but starting a career near 60. I'm told the Boston Market is tight. What hospitals in or around Boston are hiring new grads? What is the salary progression? i.e. 0 years 5 years 10 years Huge Thanks

pay scale for boston RN's?
Hi I'm thinking about doing an accelerated BSN. The MGH and Simmons Programs cost about 60K Tuition...plus there's living/trans/HI.. So I think I'd be @ 100K in debt. I'm wondering about nursing salaries in Boston and how quickly they increase? i.e. Average Salary: 0 experience 1 yr experience 3 yr experience 5 yr experience 7 yr experience 9 yr experience I'm assuming unioned hospitals are better than non-union? I'm most interested in L&D !

Paying for Pre-requisites - the Cost of Nursing Training
I'm considering the U-Mass accelerated BSN. Inorder to be considered i will need to complete several science courses (with labs) and they tell me there is no financial aid to do so... It will cost @ $6000. As a single mom I've been struggling financially for some time. How are other people paying for these pre-requisites?

What other types of jobs options can I explore besides floor nursing?
I have a masters in Global-Public Health but have had a substantial hiatus due to family and now am finding it near impossible to secure a job. i've been thinking about Public health nursing or nurse midwifery. What is it like trying to get a job in these areas? Where are the jobs? What specifically are they looking for in terms of training and experience? How much do they pay?
