  1. JM102, Thank you so much for mentioning westchesters nutrition course, that is so helpful! Do you know how much it is to take the accelerated course? And is it on campus or online?!
  2. Yes I know, thanks. I just was referring to the general start dates of my fall programs. The other programs I have a seat in start in august.
  3. PS. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted so far! Such a relieving feeling!
  4. Hi All, I also received my acceptance for Fall 2014. I have been accepted into four other accelerated nursing programs so far, but Drexel is currently my top choice and I will most likely be attending this upcoming fall! I am currently debating between starting school in January (somewhere else) versus waiting until August. I am eager and excited to meet everyone. Does anyone have any input on Drexels program compared to other programs?
  5. Tbellx12, Where did you hear this? I know it is out of my control, but I at the least, meet the minimum requirements of the program and I'm getting very nervous that I haven't been called for an interview. I applied on September 18th and still haven't heard anything. I thought I was competitive enough to be considered for an interview, so I am hoping that what you have heard has some value to it. I just didn't know if you heard this through a staff member or current student that may have inside information on the whole admission process. I am very thankful for this forum as it is the only thing calming my nerves right now. I am holding out on attending other schools I have been accepted to because Stonybrook by far is my top choice!
  6. Jess W, Did you submit your materials September 16th or October 16th. I'm concerned too because I applied over a month ago and I still haven't heard anything. Is there anyone we can call at stonybrook that would be able to better answer this? I called on Friday, but was just told a generic response of that applicants will receive news some time in November.
  7. I still can't find the group and I'm pretty facebook savvy. I will keep searching but I'm unsure how else I can find it.
  8. I too applied to Stonybrook and all of my application materials were officially submitted by September 18. I have been accepted to a few other nursing programs, but stonybrook is my top choice school and I'm getting nervous that I haven't received a call for an interview. Is anyone else in this situation? Thanks in advance!
  9. I can't find the group. Did you make it private? I tried searching for it on facebook but can't find it. Thanks.
  10. Thank you, I will look for it now!
  11. Jenijenu, I just tried to create a facebook group, but it wont allow me to make one because it requires you to add members right away prior to creating the group. Is there any way to share your name and then delete it on facebook? I'm trying to think of other ways around this.
  12. Jenijenu, Yes let's start a facebook page. I'm unsure of how to go about this since we can't mention names on this forum or at least I don't think we can. Should we make a page for Pace CDP SPRING 2014 and add ourselves to the group?
  13. Do you know of any other students that are attending this January? Also, where are you living? I'm trying to prepare for everything before January and I can't help but be a little stressed about the program starting so soon. It would help if a facebook group or other means of communication was available.
  14. I too have been accepted into the spring CDP 2014. I have been accepted to a few other programs and am currently trying to decide which one is right for me. I would love to attend Pace this January, I am just a little concerned about the 77% rule. I am a little hesitant after reading so many negative comments about this program and how many people have been kicked out. What are your thoughts?
  15. Hi- I know this thread hasn't been active in a while but I was wondering if anyone had chosen the NEU's direct entry online program? If so, overall, how is the program? Are you happy with your decision? I was recently accepted into a few accelerated nursing programs and am having a difficult time deciding which program would be the best fit. Thanks in advance!
