Hi everyone
Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and best wishes for 2009. Eat, drink and be merry.
I have worked my fair share of Christmases and am lucky enough to be off now until Sunday night shift.
Kids are hyper, Im excited and hubby is stressed about the amount of toys he will have to build tonight. Im sure that Star Wars Millenium Falcon is really for him LOL
Hope your dreams come true.

Merry christmas to all and to all a good night, looking forward to having the next 4 nights off have been on for the last 3.
Why do you have to clean the bathroom - are we talking about at home or work, home I understand but work - dont you have cleaners that do that?

Meryy Xmas everyone!
I'm working the whole way through, though luckily on lates (15.15-23.30) so will be there for pressie opening.
Plus side (aside from the double pay) is the 5 days off over New Year & NOT having to cook Xmas dinner! DH & kids off to friends both Xmas & Boxing Day.

No it was the home bathroom and it's because I like the house to be really clean for christmas.
I was so lucky this year, got Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off so spent the whole day yesterday with family. My little grandaughter is 2 years old and really got into the whole Christmas thing, she was so funny.
Then back at work today on the long day, worked with some of my favourite colleagues and had a smashing day.
I'm on nights over the New Year period but don't mind that at all and we have made plans to bring in something nice to eat, bit of a pot luck.

Merry Christmas - hope your holidays are going well. I feel guilty as I am off duty until 5th January! Never had such a long festive break...

hope everyone had a great christmas and best wishes for a fantastic new year, hopefully it will be a more mobile year for some of us lol
i worked mon night and was supposed to work tues night but my hospital shut so i had to take time owing, be on call for no pay in case hospital had to re open if post op patient readmitted and i had to pay a sitter for doing nothing because i was on call & hubby works long hours during turkey season and i didn't want leave a 8 year old home alone if i was called into work! i was not happy when that situation was sprung on me tues afternoon:madface:
i'm off now until the 3rd so that's good but guess atmosphere will be frosty when i go back because of situation on tues and the fact my manager now knows i have another job offer :chair:
by the way sharrie i like everything clean for christmas too and always clean the loo in case santa needs to spend a penny:santa: :chuckle
here's wishing my friends on all nurses a wonderful 2009:dancgrp:
AZ I just spilt my tea laughing at the thought of santa taking a wee in my loo
