Hello! I didn't see a forum for Fall 2020 applicants so I thought I'd start one. Good luck everyone ?

I sent in my TEAS but have not received confirmation for it. After I sent my acceptance letter they replied with "Thank you" loll
Hi everyone. First time poster. I actually made this account so I can also tell of my experience with the strangeness concerning this application process.
Like other people, I also received a letter stating I passed the first rounds of the application process and to "review the enclosed sheet for details and instructions" - a sheet that did not come in the mail. Furthermore, the letterhead lists the date as April 28th, a day after I sent an email to [email protected] about not receiving anything by the 27th. The bottom of the letter states "we look forward to your continued success as you advance through the selection process for the ADN Program," so the email's implication that the lottery had already been performed by April 28th is a falsehood.
After weeks of silence from the department, last night I finally received the conflicting email that many of us got, indicating that their records show I received the extra document, and informing me that the lottery had already been completed. Fascinatingly, the email was addressed to a "Ms.", which would seem to indicate they did not consult any records at all, considering my application form and student identification information would reveal that I am a man.
I sent a response email detailing how disappointed I was that they had not performed their duty in the application process as an accredited institution. I have yet to receive any response back.
I believe something more than a simple mistake was made, considering the number of problems with this incident. I plan to follow up with communications to the president and chancellor of the college.
Best of luck to everyone.

I completely agree with you, I feel like they’re just trying to avoid giving those rejected or with the physical letter a solid explanation. Of course Covid-19 could have caused a delay in their process but they still should’ve followed their guidelines as mentioned on the brochure or give us an update on changes. Their poor lack of communication is also a factor that questions their faculty and program too... I feel so bummed as I was really looking forward to Merritt’s ADN program

I’m hoping to hear back from a few other CCs including CCSF. By the way, when you sent in your application to CCSF, did you get any confirmation? I mailed in my application packet by mail but never got a confirmation, I emailed them in April too but didn’t hear back.
