  1. Hiii, it's honestly been kind of frustrating given that some of us, myself included have not gone to clinical once in these first two semesters in the program. They have opened up skills lab again tho and I love the teacher that runs it, she really helps you out. All first years are taking pharm and some rotation RN and I honestly don't think any of us are happy with the way that pharm is being taught. A lot of the teachers say and do as they please all the time and will just make you feel stupid or angry. Like others have said before there is maybe like 2 or 3 teachers that make the program bearable. The program has always been terrible about keeping us in the loop about whats going on with OUR education and training. I can just hope next semester things become somewhat better LOL
  2. Hey thanks for answering to all of us !! I was wondering if you worked during the program? Or your thoughts on what the max hours a week you think are reasonable for someone in the program
  3. Thats crazy... LOL \: how did the teachers or instructors make it hard ? Also is there anything you think that would prepare someone going into the program ?
  4. Hey! I emailed them today asking for specifics on orientation and the said they still don’t have a set date and that they’ll let us know once it’s decided ? LOL
  5. I sent in my TEAS but have not received confirmation for it. After I sent my acceptance letter they replied with "Thank you" loll
  6. My email back said the same thing ! LOL and my Instagram is _natalife is you guys want to message me and make a group !
  7. Has anyone accepted admission already and want to make a group on facebook or instagram ? I’ve been talking to a student who’s about to finish the program and would like to compare everything’s we’ve been hearing ahahaha
  8. As long as they are your first time TEAS 6 results I think you should be fine. Since it is a new test my guess is that at the top it’ll still say “attempt 1 of 1” if you haven’t taken the TEAS 6 more than once.
  9. For sure. A lot of people in this thread believe there should have been another form sent to “send in” their TEAS results via mail. However your TEAS results are sent electronically through ATI. Log into your ATI account and click on your results, and click on your FIRST TIME scores. If you send any other ones your application will be forfeited. Once you click on your first time score there will be an option to “share results “ then you’ll scroll through the list of schools until you find Merritt College ADN program. You’ll select it then click continue and it’ll prompt you to pay $27 for your scores to be sent. You pay and that’s it !
  10. I've heard that it is a challenging program. It is a well rated school, so my guess is that students who have not had good things to say were just not able to keep up with coursework and skills labs and such. They also have a bridge program with CSUEB RN-BSN which I also see as a plus. Other than that I haven't heard anything else.
  11. Hiiii, I sent my form on Sunday, they replied to me today! Hope this helps :) Hiiii, I sent my form on Sunday, they replied to me today! Hope this helps ?
  12. I think that they won’t re do the lottery since people have been getting emails for admission and have been sending in signed acceptance forms to the program. Merritt has confirmed those signed acceptance forms(at least in my case ). I think that anyone who’s received a letter saying they’ve moved on to phase two and have not received and email saying they haven’t been accepted at this point are alternates. For those who have received admission and do not meet the TEAS requirements will be dropped; leaving room for those “alternates”. Just a theory of mine. Best of luck to you all.
  13. Hi ! I received an email today today saying I was selected for admission ! Along with an acceptance form and TEAS submission instructions !
  14. Same thing happened here with my Psych requirement. Good luck on any other schools you’ve applied to?
  15. I'm not sure if the website has always said 42 applicants were selected for 2020 or if thats just always been they're cap for this year, but I'm hoping that means they're finished looking through them. I hope they let us know tomorrow too. ?
