Hello! I didn't see a forum for Fall 2020 applicants so I thought I'd start one. Good luck everyone ?

Hi sorry for the late reply but I am gonna say it is a bit of a mixed bag. There are a lot of things I learned there that made me a stronger nurse but  that could also have just been me being a hard worker that was dedicated to perfectionism. There was also a lot of unnecessary hard parts to make up for what they couldn't or wouldn't provide that I gained very little from. Since the pandemic the program has really gone downhill. I still regret going through that program but I do love nursing. I only made it through because there were a few really amazing teachers there that made up for the couple of bad eggs that made the program hell for everyone. I would have been happier if I had just transferred programs. I wish I had applied to other programs the first semester I was accepted so that I had other options and didn't get stuck there.

Thank you so much!

For those who are currently in this program, how has it been going?

Hiii, it's honestly been kind of frustrating given that some of us, myself included have not gone to clinical once in these first two semesters in the program. They have opened up skills lab again tho and I love the teacher that runs it, she really helps you out. All first years are taking pharm and some rotation RN and I honestly don't think any of us are happy with the way that pharm is being taught. A lot of the teachers say and do as they please all the time and will just make you feel stupid or angry. Like others have said before there is maybe like 2 or 3 teachers that make the program bearable. The program has always been terrible about keeping us in the loop about whats going on with OUR education and training. I can just hope next semester things become somewhat better LOL

hi! I just got accepted into fall 2024. I don't see any new threads, but I wanted to see if anyone in here had finished the program last year? I keep seeing bad reviews but this is the only nursing program that accepted me. my other options are USF and dominican university but its both for kinesiology then after I plan to go to grad school..which is even more time 😭 so I'm not sure what the best option is. someone help!
