Mercy Hospital College of Nurses LPN-RN Miami

Published

Creating this to give an insight into the process of applying to Mercy Hospital College of Nursing. I've attended the information session. I took the NLN entrance exam and got a 78% overall score. (73% is passing) I'm waiting to see whats the next step once the administrator sends the needed information. Let's see whats next.

ooo nice, so one can work in second year. ?

w

can one get a job at mercy or nearby hospital ?

what is hourly lpn pay in miami ?

MCH = maternal child health ?

Some people work during the first semester to pay for the tuition because it's 100% out of pocket there is no financial aid (well for the RN I am not 100% sure about the LPN). I know for the RN yes mercy will hire you for there StarRN program and there is many people who work on the floors now who graduated from mercy RN program. The hourly wage varies but it's between $16-24.

I must do both the LPN and the ADN programs.... I will need to work the whole time.

I understood that they tried to help... "they worked with you" on school payments... umm maybe that is changing...

are you saying that LPN graduates-after 1st year- get hired and paid 16-24 hourly duriing their ADN program ?

Yeah they work with you with the payment by splitting the payments up monthly. The hourly pay for an LPN is $16-24/hr depending on the what kind of job. The hourly pay for an RN $26-35/hr depending on what kind of job. I dont know how much the RN's who work at the hospital who graduated Mercy make.

ooo WOW!!

Is there NO ONE doing the LPN track! ? ?

Hello Miami Mercy Students ~ Is anyone going into the LPN program? ?

LPN to RN for August/September. I doubt they will make the full program online. It wouldnt make sense especially for a LPN program too much hands on things needs to be learned

As no student are permitted in the hospital, one can only assume that we must learn many of the clinical skills on-line, no?

What does one absolutely need to learn to do in an LPN program?

Congratulations!! ?

For those of you in the LPN to RN program can you explain what are the escrow credits?
