Creating this to give an insight into the process of applying to Mercy Hospital College of Nursing. I've attended the information session. I took the NLN entrance exam and got a 78% overall score. (73% is passing) I'm waiting to see whats the next step once the administrator sends the needed information. Let's see whats next.

The second semester online is good just attend lectures, complete the clinical case studies, and discussion posts if you have them. I rented all my books either on ecampus.com or amazon which ever one had a cheaper price.
Thank you! As long as it manageable I think I will survive. I'm going to check out campus now I never heard of it. Do you really need an ethernet connection to have a class online?

@jnurse98How is online classes? Did you still have your books? If so are you willing to sell them. Or is renting a better option.

The campus is nice, you'll like it hopefully you get to actually have class and clinical there. Yeah you need ethernet or wifi with your laptop or desktop for classes.

Not yet I dont like bothering ppl in their decision making but tomorrow I sure will. I emailed last week and nobody replied and when I was submitting before I would get feedback. So I'm blowing them up tomorrow n set my mind free

Yes the same time that it was in person is the same time online. You may finish earlier for the online classes like for example class is 3-10pm but you may only be online from 3-8pm. The days are the same as it would have been in person too.

Do classes start in May or August?
Assuming all is ONLINE , NO?
covid is airborne... you would not want to be breathing hospital air without serious protection and serious cause. ?
I assume they are taking classes for the LPN but I only know about the ADN. Yes as far as we know classes are going to be online until further notice and classes start January, MAY, and AUGUST. Yeah students aren't allowed in the hospital.
