hahaha yep,

sorry I misunderstood the question. *facepalm*

it's definitely a yes!

thanks for your your kind comments.

so, about the ICHC. how long is it valid?

Hello. About the ICHC's validity, I don't really know. However, I suggest you request it as close as to when you plan to submit your AHPRA application. I got my ICHC reference page (Philippines) after 3 days.

Its 3 months from date of issue as per AHPRA's February 2015 update. Please see link. That is why you have to apply again post BP completion.

Hello everyone. On 17th January 2017, I mailed my file along with AGOS40 form to AHPRA for IRON program. On 27th February I received an automated generated email from AHPRA that they have received my application. But today 22nd March they sent me an email asking for application form and ICHC (International Criminal History Check). They have mentioned in the email that I have not submitted the application form but that form was the very first thing in my file. I am so confused right now. Any help regarding this matter will be helpful

Hi. Did you the attach the Fit2Work ICHC Reference Page which was attached in an email sent by fit 2 work? It contains the check reference number which should also be written in Section H. No 15 of the AGOS-40 form. If yes, then do clarify with you RO regarding this matter. Humbly reply that you are positive and that you are willing to provide them another copy of the reference page.

Actually the application form which I sent was not the current one ( Effective from 10 February 2014) and ICHC was not mentioned there. And consultant missed that point and didn't sent the ICHC thing. So I'm guessing I will have to send the application again. How long does it takes to get the the ICHC done? I am from India and I have no criminal history in this country. Is ICHC still necessary?

Well, I guess this is on you as you have to send an updated version of AGOS 40. The latest one being January 16, 2017. So please have that checked. It's quite important to check and read AHPRA's page every now and then. Yes, ICHC is necessary for all the countries you've lived/resided for over 6 months.

hello paul_rn, dy3p

I'm currently completing the ICHC on the Fit2Work website, and I'm just want to ask in Part 3: Additional Details where I upload Additional Documents. There's always a reference number to be filled but I'm not sure which part of the document is the reference number. BTW what documents did you attach in the additional documents? I've attached my birth certificate and bank statements already.

and with regards to my question before.

I understand now that I have to complete the ICHC for Philippines since I reside in the Philippines, but for the place that I work (for 2 years) I don't stay for 6 consecutive months (only 6 weeks onsite / 6 weeks offsite and vice versa) I don't think I need to add it for the check? but I'm not sure. Because if I need to, it doesn't appear on the list of places that fit2work can check.

Hey guys,

Quick question. If you are an RN in Ireland, UK or US but earned your degree from Philippines, do you have any idea if you will be refused registration and then referred to a bridging program? Asking for a friend, thanks.

Hey dyp3, thanks for the reply. Just one more question. How long does it takes to get the ICHC done? (from applying online to getting the reference number after verificatio) . Thanks

that's my question too but currently I am just waiting for my LOE from AHPRA. They did ask for my overseas nursing programme documents though from my university (same documents they asked from my school in the Philippines). I sent it late because I thought it's not needed but they asked for it. So I am waiting for australia post to deliver it to AHPRA. I will let you know when I receive my LOE.

*I'm from the UK and did the overseas nursing programme (not the OSCE)

My Philippine ICHC result came a week after application. I applied feb 14, they confirmed feb 15 with ICHC referrence page then the result came back on feb 22

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if anyone of you received the registration refund from ahpra after they refused your registration. How many weeks or months before they refund your money?

Thanks
