Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
1) Yeah, you need the LOE from ACN to put up a visa application. 2) I highly recommended that you get your whole vaccination thing done from your home country. Just vaccination (GP fee and vaccine cost) will cost you around 600-700 dollars in Australia.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi there, I'm a Nursing student from ETEA, Canning Vale (Perth). I'm studying in the bridging course for AHPRA registration and I'm waiting for my unpaid clinical placement (4 weeks) at the moment. My college is gonna place me in NSW (its is far away and it's gonna disturb my visa plan). For those students who want to stay here, the college has suggested us to get in touch with local hospitals by ourselves. Can someone help me in this matter? To whom should I discuss this matter with in the hospitals? How should I approach them (via telephone or should I visit hospitals)? Thanks

Hi @pinoyunli. No, a visa is not really required because "overseas passport with Australian visa" doesn't make any sense for applicants with fresh passports. You can just attach a certified copy of your overseas passport even if doesn't have any visa. As far as "category C" is concerned, I attached a certified copy of my "Adhaar Card (an identification card issued to Indian citizens)" . You can chose any other option from the same category long at it provides evidence of your residential address.

Hi @faith2911. A two month gap wont be an issue. You just need atleast 3 months of experience for AHPRA application

Congrats @Jigglypuff2017. No, you don't have to submit those requirements. It just implies that AHPRA cannot directly approve your registration application because you haven't met 2,3,6 and 8. So they are referring you for bridging program :) Hope this helped
