As I remembered, they only required my passport I think as a proof of identification that I am the person they're certifying. However, it would help if you know a friend who is a nurse, doctor, lawyer, even an accountant who is already an australian citizen to certify your statutory declaration.

Goodluck, I am sure as long as you have provided all those things, you will have thesame decision as mine. When your decision arrives, if you don't need to do bridging course, then your decision will be in principle registration. It means since you haven't submitted any proof of address in australia, you need to present yourself in person so you have to go to any ahpra offices within 3 months of the decision. If you are not a british citizen yet, apply for an Australian visa straightaway, and upload all documents online. Everything is online and electronic, I did not send anything to the australian embassy, I just uploaded copies of my documents online. Here is the link https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login it took 11 days for them to grant me the visa. I am posting this as when I received the decision, I have to find out everything as my friends in australia underwent bridging programme and I do not know anyone from the UK who had in principle registration decision. I don't want any of you to experience the anxiety I have experienced. Haha just for future reference incase I can't visit this page again, so arriving in ahpra you need these documents: - passport - visa in australia, (there is an option of stamped entry however australia doesn't stamp passports anymore, they only do everything electronically) so just show them a copy of your visa - boarding pass now this next ones are a bit tricky: - proof of address (in this case, I opened a bank account in australia whilst I was still here in the UK.) this is the website where I opened my account NetBank - Smart Access Application - Commonwealth Bank. but you can try searching for other banks but this is the most convenient bank for me in my opinion just use the address of your friend or family in australia and when you land, go to the nearest commbank for you to be able to get your debit card and for them to give you a certificate of account opening with the proof of address stated. then ask them to stamp the certificate as AHPRA doesn't accept unstamped bank documents. You also need an australian sim so they can register your bank details and also it comes in handy as I sent money to this account before coming to australia for me to use whilst in australia. with the mobile banking I can easily send money to my friend or regulate my transactions next is your statutory declaration of expired CORS and ICHC (take note: these documents are only valid for 3 months but you don't need to provide a new one, just do a statutory declaration) statutory declaration document depends on every state. So just refer to this page and click on STATUTORY DECLARATION FOR EXPIRED ICHC OR CORS Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - International application resources You need to have these statutory declaration be certified by a person in australia. it can be your friend or family who is a nurse, lawyer doctor and they're citizens of australia. or in my case, I went to nearest chemist in melbourne ahpra and have the pharmacist certify it for me for free!) if you have submitted all of these, you will be receive your registration in AHPRA the following day. Hope my post is clear, and good luck!

Hi ann, *** *** from City University will make those documents and he knows what to do already. Even doing the thing for ANMAC and those documents were accepted. I am currently finished with ahpra and anmac and just waiting for my EOI for me to start applying for migration which takes looooooong time. Just email ********, and he will ask you to send your medication management pages from your ONP workbook (take note you need to have these notarised before sending to him) and he will attach it together. Also, it doesn't matter I think what level of ONP you had. I don't know if every uni has different levels. But with city uni, even though I have higher level compared to my friend (Mine was HE 6, and hers is HE 5) we still had thesame decision from AHPRA, just as long you submit the needed documents

NMC won't give that one, instead My uni gave me that document. The uni completed those 2 forms for me and AHPRA accepted them.

Just ask your programme leader, in our case in City Uni it was ben teh, he knows what to do. If youre not with city uni, just ask them to complete http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/documents/default.aspx?record=WD14%2f13289&dbid=AP&chksum=CBGV6MetKgGdAgVJ9D92LA%3d%3d http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/documents/default.aspx?record=WD14%2f13288&dbid=AP&chksum=m8EXnJ5S91YS%2b7mIV1HA3w%3d%3d then have the pages of your medication management be certified by a notary then send it to your programme leader or uni and they will attach together with the certificates they completed and they will send it to ahpra

Hi, sorry I havent opened my email that I have used in here. I was with City University of London. Our ONP programme leader made the documentation (the template in ahpra) then I sent a ctc of my medication management of my ONP work book. He sent it altogether and AHPRA accepted them. I registered with them last July.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
This is more of the instruction from my RO Criterion 2 - Evidence of education institution accreditation: please download the Request for accreditation evidence – education institution under Accreditation evidence on the International application resources page of the NMBA website. Send this document to the education institution where you obtained your qualification and request that they provide the response directly to AHPRA as soon as possible. · Criterion 3 - Evidence of program of study accreditation: please download the Request for accreditation evidence – program of study under Accreditation evidence on the International application resources page of the NMBA website. Send this document to the independent professional regulatory authority or agency that accredited the program of study you completed and request that they provide the response directly to AHPRA as soon as possible. PLEASE NOTE: the independent professional regulatory authority or agency is NOT your education institution. If you do not know who your independent professional regulatory authority or agency is, please contact your education institution for this information. · Criterion 5 - Official confirmation from your education institution of the number of hours of workplace experience acquired during the time that you were studying. · Criterion 6 - A certified copy of the course outline/ syllabus (translated into English if required) containing information on each of your nursing units. · Criterion 7 - A certified copy of the academic transcript (translated into English if required) and any other supplementary documentation if available.· Criterion 8 - Certification from your education institution, provided directly to AHPRA, that you have successfully completed an assessment in medication management. This must be in the form of the following evidence: - certified copies of the relevant course or unit outlines indicating the study and assessment undertaken in medication management, or - if course or unit outlines are no longer available, an official letter from your education institution providing a breakdown of the content completed for medication management and the number of hours studied for each component. Relevant courses must include the following units of study: - pharmacokinetics (the study of the bodily absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of drugs) - pharmacodynamics (the study of the biochemical and physiological effects of drugs and the mechanisms of their action in the body) - medication administration (including calculations), and - quality use of medicines. Please see the fact sheet for criterion 8 on the NMBA website for more information on meeting these requirements. so, this is for your philippine and uk uni where you did your onp. In my case, city university of london onp programme leader made the transcript and he sent it directly to aphra. With the pharmacology, he asked me to have my module of pharmacology to be notarized and be sent to the uni so that he can attach it together with the transcripts as evidenced of my pharmacology i completed all requirements by mar 20 and received my loe april 28 but with my friend, it took longer like after 3 months.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi, good thing I decided to check this post. Yes I am already registered in ahpra without undergoing bridging programme. I just came back from oz last week. Basically, just submit all needed documents including transcripts from your onp here in the uk to be sent directly by the uni to ahpra. Then they will assess and hopefully you will not undergo bridging anymore. Mine was registration in principle in which I am was given 90 days to present in any ahpra office. I chose melbourne as it has the cheapest flight from london. They need your passport, boarding pass, flight tickets, visa (i just applied for tourist visa 600) and proof of australian address. In my case, i applied for commbank migrant banking and used the address of my friend in victoria. Then when i arrived to my nominated bank branch, i just presented my passport and i asked for a letter with my australian address. Btw, if your cogs and ichc already lapsed 3 months, they will ask for a statutory declaration to be signed by a witness in Australia. I submitted all those and after a day I am already an Australian RN

Filipino UK nurse going to Australia
I know this post is already old but just to give an answer. I am a Filipino graduate but working here in the UK for almost 3 years now. I underwent an overseas nursing programme to be registered here. I recently applied for registration in AHPRA (NMBA) and they accepted my application for registration. I have to go to Australia by July to present the needed documents personally. by this, it means there is a possibility that they will recognize the bridging programme in the UK. I am not sure about them accepting the nurses who underwent OSCE (exam) though

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
Hi Lark. I just received a good news today. I do not need to undergo bridging programme anymore. My background is I am a UK RN and I have 5 years dxperience from the Philippines, Saudi and The UK combined. When I came here, I underwent a sort of brdiging programme (overseas nurses programme) to be registered in the UK. In your case, I don't know if they will recognize your license since what they're after is not only being licensed in a certain country but the way how you got your license in which in my case is like a brdiging programme since I went to Uni for it. Hope this helps

I don't know why he cannot certify them as true copies. As I have said, my documents from the UK and Saudi were certified in the Philippines because it's cheaper to have it done there than here in the UK. My saudi COE and training certificates were certified in the Philippines. My UK trainings as well. Ask AHPRA if that affidavit is okay or better yet find another lawyer who can.

Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines
My UK and Saudi documents were notarized in the Philippines. I mean certified true copy. Notarized and ctc are different. Notarized means that they confirm that the signatures and content are valid however for ctc they just certify that it is the true image and likeness of the original document. Actually anyone can ctc the photocopy (e.g in school, the registrar can ctc our TOR) but AHPRA requires for us to have our photocopies certified by a notary public if we are not in Australia that is why we get confused with notarized and ctc.
