Hello everyone!I'm glad to be active here again. Since i've been a member of allnurses in 2012, I've finally pushed through with the application process with AHPRA! Its nice to know that there are updated information regarding the process here. :)
Does anybody know if its okay to send AGOS-40 later than the certificate of good standing from PRC? I didn't realize PRC was very quick in processing my certificate. The tracking shows my PRC cert has arrived in Melbourne, but I still am to send my AGOS-40 on Wednesday. Thanks in advance!
usually they advice us that ahpra should be at least aware about you (sending agos 40 first) before they receive some COGS. but I think that wouldn't be a big problem. How long did you have to wait for PRC? I requested mine last monday and until now there's no update
good day fellow RNs. I am currently gathering my documents for AHPRA.
In the AGOS-40 form, I have a question regarding personal details. I was born as an illegitimate child. I carried the family name of my mother. When I was about 17 years old, I had a change in my family name (my father's). The change is stated in my NSO Birth Certificate something like: "Acknowledged by ____, the surname of the child is hereby changed from __ to __. The child shall be known as (my new name) pursuant to R.A. 9255"
my question is should I write my previous name under the "previous names known by"? thanks in advance.

Yeah I hope so too. It took about 3 weeks for PRC to process everything. Then probably a week to reach OZ. They usually email you if the document is ready for mailing. This was how the email went:
"We would like to inform you that your LICENSE VERIFICATION/CERTIFICATION
request is ready for mailing. You are requested to go directly at any
courier of your choice (Ex. DHL, FedEx, etc.), submit the claimstub with
your name and pay the mailing fee. The courier staff will be the one to
pick- up the document from our office."
You may call them to follow-up. I hope you get yours soon.

It would take that long? I have read in this forum that it was just a week. If I only knew, I would have it done weeks before

In my opinion, you should declare your previous name since you were originally registered under your mother's name. Just show them the proof of your name change.
Guys I need help. I am currently working overseas and my contract is due to expire on March 2018. After that I want to do the bridging program in Australia and apply to AHPRA. Around April 2018. My concern is, if I apply right now, would the Letter of Eligibility be expired by then? If they approve applications as fast as a month or two months time? Thanks for the help!
Even you have vaccine, you have to show that you have the serology, so better proceed to serology test right away as you have (for sure) immunization at your childhood. In addition, request for DTAP Vaccine (Boostrix).
Hi sir it was actually my initial plan however, when i checked for the serology test prices here in the philippines it was very expensive that is why ive decided to take first the vaccine then proceed to serology..sir if you dont mind, do you have any idea if the polio vaccine being given in the healthcenter for babies are applicable to adults as well. Its so hard to find polio vaccine here..
