Which visa is better, student visa or the subclass 600? Can anyone give advice regarding this? If for example, i'll enroll in IHNA.. Basically im looking for the cheapest BP wherever it is.By the way, AHPRA had already charged me $520. Does this mean they're going to send me my LOE soon?? Just hopeful and praying... ..
Hey Tonyang,
Firstly, The payment of $520 does not guarantee an eligbility letter. It does however, mean that your application has been received and will be assessed. Your R.O will shortly send you an email confirming the assessment of your application.(Based from my experience). Don't worry though, LOE doesn't take too long to be released nowadays. The refund by the way will then be credited back to your preferred account 3-4 weeks after you receive the assessment outcome. Your R.O will send you an email regarding this matter.
With regards to the visa application, it really depends on how you want to go about after your BP. I, for example applied for a Visa subclass 600 tourist stream. IHNA has the 9 week BP course which I clearly defined and the need to go back to AUS for future follow up. They then issued me a 1 year multiple entry visa with the conditions of "No work" and "Max of 3 months study", staying only for 3 months in each entry. I preferred the tourist stream over the student visa since the BP is not longer than 3 months anyway. And I will be coming back here after its completion.
Im also thinking of getting subclass 600 since it gives us more time to go back & forth to Aussie especially if not hired immediately.
Is show money needed for this visa? How much would that be?
My primary concern is, would it give us and the hospital that will sponsor us a tough time in converting this visa to working visa? This is what im so worried about. Can somebody please enlighten us regarding this matter and subclass 600 business stream?
Thank you so much.
To dy3p, do you mean subclass 600 tourist stream and not business stream? Both are different right? May i know why you chose the tourist stream and not the business stream? Im still lost regarding visa..

Good day everyone!
I'm just unsure if I should celebrate receiving referral for bridging this morning. Does this mean school hunting starts? The letter states I need to choose an approved program of study by NMBA, and that I was rejected because I did not satisfy Section 53 (b) of the National Law. If I am on the right track, I would like to know if you can help me distinguish "non-qual award" institutions with the ones offering initial registration (IRON) or entry registration.
Aside from this, I would also like to know if you have any recommendations. I have read thru half of this forum and it has helped me a lot in my application. Thank you so much in advance guys, and looking forward to your suggestions!
Timeline:
Submitted application: May 3, 2016
RO requested new goodstanding for both registrations (Ph and UAE): May 10, 2016
Submitted new certificates: May 25, 2016
Received the referral for bridging: 16 June 2016
You mean you took ielts twice and combined the two test results? If you don't mind, in what school did you have your BP?
Yet to enroll for BP
Nope we can't combine the results; in the second test you should be able to get all 7. I took the test twice because in the first sitting I did not get all 7.

Hi just want to double check if I need still the school to send the tor, rle, dipoma to apphra or the certified documents will be enough in the attached aphra application ?
and in my case since I'm working overseas I need to apply for the fit2work police clearance on top of the nbi clearance? does it need to be together with aphra application form when sending or the nbi will send it directly to them?
Hi Toby
you don't need to send your original documents CTC will do however you need to send original language test result. Request International police checks from Fit2work(Philippines and whichever country you've worked)once background checks are finalized you'll get ICHC number which you need to write in your AGOS 40 form. all documents will be sent together except for Certificate of Good Standing which should be sent by the Licensing Authority. Download the AGOS 40 form from AHPRA you can find at the last page a checklist of documents you need to send them..Hope this helps.. Goodluck

To meow.. Regarding agency that provides financial assistance, always remember that they are loan sharks. The loan they will lend you is up to BP tuition and expenses for 3months only. After that, you're on your own. They will extend their loan up to PR application maybe. Still, another burden. My friends always tell us NOT to go to PHILMAN since their PF will cost you P300k alone. Plus their loan interests, youll have to pay them 100k monthly for 2 years starting on your 5th month which is 2 months after your bp. Think several times before joining these agencies. I availed bank loan since all proceeds will be mine to spend. In agencies, out of P650k that they will lend and spend for you, you will only get hold of less than P100k but charge you for almost P2M as payment. Costly & deadly. Try to find other agencies though. ELP is more flexible but still expensive coz you'll have to pay them twice the amount of your actual loan. Their PF is P80k. Since you got your LOE, that PF is just too much when all theyll do for you is enroll you to Monash. I was about to join them, but I realized it was not a good idea at all...
