Hi there,
I just recently submitted my application to AHPRA, and they've advised me to send a document that is lacking. Anyway, that is not what I worry about. If fortunately AHPRA will issue me a LOE, do you have any idea if there could be a bridging institution that will accept me if my work experience is over 5 years. To this date, my latest employment date was 30 April 2012. So if I'm planning to do my BP next year, say by April my work experience will be way out of 5 years recency of practice.
Any thought on this is highly appreciated.
Cheers!
I just recently passed the PTE academic and in the process of gathering the needed requirements. Information overload after reading this forum which is really informative. Its so hard to personally gather the said documents because im working overseas and just relying on my mother to get those things in behalf of me.
hopefully, will be able to file it to aphra by july and obtain the said LOE to scout for school for the earliest intake next year , as i plan to exit after end of my contract here in Singapore.
Any suggestion which school has the low tuition fee as im budgeting the expenses and for the visa is it wise enough to get the student visa as i dont intend to exit after the bridging program Giving me ample time to find work
Is there a possibility of being denied with aphra? Like in my case i did volunteer after passing the NLE for 6 months then after that been away from hospital for about 1 year plus since I did review for the NCLEX exam then re volunteer again for almost 6 months before commencing with being hired as a staff nurse where i worked for 5 years before working in other country .
how to deal with work gap in between? What to put in the cv ?How many months is the ichc valid?
Just simply put in the exact dates of the gap and explain why and what you did in those times.
i.e
March 2016 - June 2016
- The time was spent processing my application abroad. That being said, the remainder of the period stated above also includes the time I looked for a job, got interviewed and subsequently hired. etc.
As per AHPRA , (February 2015), it states that "International criminal history reports will remain valid for a period of three months from date of issue.". Pls see link.

You are blessed and I should say your RO is brilliant. My RO was requesting me to submit criterion 2 which we dont meet as per Australia's standard. What should I do? I replied and told him we dont need to submit criterion 2 because we are recognized as AQF LEVEL 7. as per their standard. -sigh-...
