Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

hello fellahs, is there somebody here who passed their documents to AHPRA in Sydney, NSW? how long did it took for you to receive your Letter of Eligibility?

Hi to all!

Guys am I eligible to apply in Australia with these experiences?

Country 1: ER nurse for 2 years - I got temporary registration but the nursing council in this country refused to give me certificate of temporary registration and good standing because they were still clueless if they can give it to a foreign nurse on temporary registration status. Instead, they gave me letter stating that I got a temporary registration and that they will not issue good standing in my case. I used this letter when I registered in the nursing council in country 2.

Country 2: Home care nurse for 1.5 years - will AHPRA accept home care experience?

Hoping someone could enlighten me.

Thank you.

Just want to share that I took the the visitor stream sublcass 600 visa. Pretty fast and straight forward. I applied for the emedical before submitting my application and got the visa grant within 5 days. (The application for emedical doesn't guarantee fast approval). Im booked for Sept intake IHNA Perth.
Hi dy3p, BSN,RN. My husband is also enrolled at IHNA Perth for September intake. He already got his visa grant and just completing the immunization requirements. He is glad to find a future classmate here.. :)

Thats good to know mam! :)

hello em76! I decided to go for IHNA Perth September 19 because of other factors in my current employment. It saved me a lot of time, since they process very quickly and will help me gracefully exit from my job, without any visa restrictions since I am abroad. All the best for your Monash journey! :D
Hi! My husband will also take his bridging program at IHNA Perth for the same intake. :)

Hi dy3p! Do you still have the list of the documents that you've submitted for your visa 600? I'm glad that you have received it pretty quickly. I know that there is a separate thread for visas but I can't seem to find the list that I've been looking for. Please let me know more about it, or just send me a PM if it's ok with you. Thank you so much.

Hi guys!

Been following this thread for months now and planning to process my application just like all of you. I believe this will save a lot of money than going under agency. So yeah, I took my IELTS exam last month and fortunately got grades no less than 7 and now here I am planning for the next step.

I think I need first to prepare for my CV. I hope you could help me.:( Can someone send a sample CV with a standard format of AHPRA for my guide. please please. I know I have a long waaaaaaay to go.

Thanks dy3p! I'll just post my reply here as I still can't send you a PM. The detailed list of documents that you sent me really helps a lot. I'm also glad that you've included some explanations on it. Thanks again dy3p, I was really inspired on how fast you were able to receive your subclass 600.
