Thanks for that. I forgot to ask, did you apply for the International criminal history check thing as well? Since I've been staying here for over 5 years now.

Hi, i just had my LOE. Yes you should include all including your home country in the application for ICHC. It caused my delay for not including Philippines too.

Sunisle, did you submit the international criminal history check from abu dhabi too? or by fit2work.com.au?

Hi, Ahpra requires from an approved vendor meaning you need to do it through fit2work.com.au. please dont forget to include Philippines too on your application even you are working for a decade or so outside Philippines. It caused me some delay because i didn't include Philippines as i work more than a decade in middle east.

id like to know if we still need the CHED papers because I read in IQNM that nurses from Philippines and India are not required to send this documentation since our countries does not meet this criteria. thank you.

Hi, CHED papers are required for those who had their degree in private schools and yes you need to arrange it with CHED together with AHPRA template. As for public schools, the school will directly send it to IQNM.

Anyone planning to take BP @ monash April intake?

Hi! Yes, I am one. Still processing the requirements..

i didn't include any ched papers in my application. i still received my loe. :)

I and my friend applied together for registration. CHED is required for those who graduated in private schools like he did. I had my degree in a public school and its not required because there is a special order that except all public universities thats why my school documents didn't pass CHED. My uni sent it directly to IQNM.

Hello. My case officer just emailed me that my assessment has completed and it has been determined that further information is required to finalise my application. Need help:

Do any of you guys know what Recognize prior learning means? They want me to provide confirmation from my school if I completed fewer units because units I had completed in an earlier degree were not repeated for my Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Hi! A friend of mine experienced that too. What he did was he went to the school where he took his previous degree to secure the list of subjects that the nursing school accredited and took the documents from the registrar and brought it to the nursing school. Now the nursing registrar office issued him a letter stating the lists of those accredited subjects and that letter is to be sent directly to AHPRA by your school in support to your nursing education.

Hi kavi8888 can u help me with the new agos 40? Email : [email protected]

Hi!

I sent you a mail. If you need some more clarifications just email back. Make sure that most documents required to by mailed directly by certain offices, arranged it ahead before submitting your AGOS 40. Goodluck !

Well my ihna experience was good.. 4weeks of theory and 5weeks of clinical Everything went well... Most of IHna's clinical placement will be at regional victoria and nsw.. Everything is pretty well arranged and planned.. Cheers

Hi TranceX3, are you done with your BP already? Could you share me your experience as to how the school has supported you post BP? Thank you.

Hi,

what would be the timing for the ICHC fit2work application? Should i lodge and pay it before ahpra submission?

We are almost done collating ahpra requirements. God bless us all!

Yup im done last august... There's no support offered to me post bp other than the expiditing of the paperworks needed for relodgement of my ahpra registration and reference for my job application..

still i think student visa is safer than business visa if you don't want to leave australia. because in my case, if i cant get work immediately, i plan to enrol to cheaper courses to extend my stay and find work rather than coming back to philippines with no assurance of returning at all.

Hi.. Do you know like how much one will approximately spend for the visa extension and cheaper course enrollment?

The skype interview was more of how you handle stressful situations, your strength and weaknesses. If you've been in an actual hospital setting, you'd nail it. No questions with medical terms.

Working under a subclass 600 visa is a no-no. Plus, you'll be rostered on both AM and PM shifts, 8hrs a day, for 5 days a week. That's 40hrs a week. It's the same as working full time.

If you apply for a subclass 600, make sure it's multiple entry for a year. You might not be able to stay further than 3 months but you most certainly can go back again given it's within a year. You can even exit somewhere else for just a week. You'll have another 3months to stay when you come back.

Do they also ask situational nursing scenarios wherein they test your nursing judgment? Around how long did your interview take? Are they friendly/conversational or really formal?
