Thank you for that. I heard about it too. I might go with the schools accomodation. So how many are you in 1 room and can you choose your roomates? :)

It would be better too if you will😀😀.. It depends, its like 2-3 person per room.. You can choose if you are early.. You can only choose when you arrive there.. So its better to go there 2-3 days ahead of the start date..

Anyone going for latrobe ?

Hi! I'm going to La Trobe this Jan. Have you applied already?

congrats!!! :) May I ask where you lodged in your application?

I lodged mine via PhilPost to MELBOURNE.. however the reply i received from my RO came from Perth as seen in the address under her name.. I think it gets distributed to whatever state is available to assess our papers. Not sure.

I didn't opt for the student visa because it's more expensive and I wanted to make sure DIBP won't reject my visa application. I can only provide them with a certificate of enrolment that's good for 3 months. I'm not too sure about this but I have heard somewhere that to have a student visa, one should be enrolled in a program that takes 6 months. I didn't want to risk it. Plus, I thought it would be cheaper to just go back home and maybe work for awhile there while waiting for registration and job offer. Some do opt to enrol in any course that can provide them with a student visa here after BP. But that's just additional cost and there's your everyday cost of living to think of too.

I'm happy I'm taking my BP with MCIE. I wanted more clinical exposure and I am now in my 4th week. 6 weeks to go. There's only 6 of us which gives us more opportunities to be with our facilitators one on one. That, for me, is taking back my money's worth.

Hi Amaree, where is the campus/placement located? How much did you pay for your tuition fee and how long is the duration of the IRON course?

Hello everyone.

For awhile now, I have also been processing papers here and there. I just want to share my experience with you. I have enrolled in La Trobe for the Jan 2016 intake and they just emailed me TODAY that they are cancelling their course and rescheduling it to May. This brought me frustration because I have already made arrangements in terms of my tuition fee, insurance, VISA and flight details. Honestly, I don't know what to do or where to start. I want to take the BP early next year and I don't think I can wait for May.

Can you share with me if you know someone who had the same situation as mine? What did they do?

I'm now back in step 1 and researching about schools and their fees and intake dates. Also, if for example I enroll in IHNA or MCIE, they recommend subclass 600 business visa while the visa that I have now is a student's. I really hope you could help me or share your stories...

I felt sorry to hear your case... Im not quite sure about your situation, but as far as i know, those schools will not mind the type of visa you've got as long as you have study rights on it.. Try to make an enquiry to MCIE or IHNA with your situation..

Hi Sunisle! I'm from Abu Dhabi too. Just a question. That COGS, correct me if I'm wrong but HAAD doesn't really send those types of documents right? In your case, what did you do? Im still on the verge of filling out the form. Long way to go..

Hi Ikris: even I got frustrated after hearing that the jan intake for latrobe is no longer available...so I'm planning to take IQN in monash this April .

Sunisle, did you submit the international criminal history check from abu dhabi too? or by fit2work.com.au?

only the one from fit2work.

Hi Kavi, I received your PM but the reply function doesn't work, don't know why. :(

Hello everyone! I'm currently processing my application for IRON program in IHNA Perth. Good news is they have a special offer of 10,990 dollars until February 2016. I'm grabbing the chance to pay it even though it's still big amount of money. Also, they offer 4 weeks free accommodation - that's during theory class (first 4 weeks). It was a good offer. Anyone going to IHNA Perth this February 2016? See you!

Hi, are you pushing thru with the Perth campus? How much is your tuition? Do you know if the location of clinical placements differ if you study in Melbourne vs Perth?
