I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Hi, I called ahpra regarding that matter because when they sent to me the proposal to refuse my registration, i did not respond to them. I was thinking it's the right thing to do because I am not objecting to it and Im happy to be referred to bp. After a month they sent me an email with the letter of refusal together with the request for refund. I asked my friend and told her about what i did, she told me to call ahpra immediately. I called ahpra and asked them if it was necessary at the time they sent the proposal for refusal for me to respond to them and withdraw, they told me no, it wasn't needed. since they didn't hear anything from me, it was automatically assumed that i am not going to make an appeal and that i am going for bp. What i just have to do is fill out the refund form they just sent to me and mail it by to them by post...So I think you dont have to worry. Just wait till the end of the date they specified in the letter for you to make a submission. After that they will email you again with the request for refund form...without that form, they cannot give u back your registration fee. I hope this helps...:)
Thanks a lot!!! :-)
hi jois! when did you start processing your APHRA? same here, I'm in Riyadh and contemplating to try APHRA.
Q#1. when did you start APHRA application?
2. How many months did it take you to be eligible for IRON program?
3. (if you were assessed under the new criteria 1-8 for international qualified nurses) did you submit documents from philippines for criteria 2, 3, 8?
thanks!
cheers!hi mates! i just want to share my experience as i know it would be beneficial for us filo nurses. lodge my application last march 11 & received an email just this morning that they are currently reviewing my credentials & be given to the national board. i was a bit flabbergasted & thought perhaps they are now really expediting their process this year, trying to hit the 3-4weeks processing time :) i am just wondering whether i could now push thru with the vaccinations. thank you guys
is this the first step of APHRA process? are you processing everything on your own or with the help of an agency?
im planning to do it on my own. your replies will surely help me alot
I'm deciding between ETEA and IHNA. I want Sydney, but I read somewhere here that ETEA is late in submitting the BP completion documents to AHPRA... For IHNA... I'm hesitant to get meninggococcemia vaccine... argh...
Find an educational intinstitution who offers bp with cricos, so you can apply for a student visa. I inquired with ETEA they're offering cricos accredited bridging program... :)

Hi, just like you im a saudi rn too... and i did my ahpra application on my own... it wasn't easy but it's not impossible to achieve... you can certainly do it by yourself... you just have to read, research and ask...i waited 6 months for Ahpra's decision but it was worth the wait. Asking around here and in other forums helped a lot... if there's something i can help you with, im more than willing to do so... when are u planning to start your application?

Hi nurse username, yes i think you have to because it is one of the vital requirements in applying for bp and visa... I almost have the same dilemma, however mine will expire at the end of my bridging program. And i think i should take ielts again since ielts should be valid when i reapply to ahpra again.
