Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

would the student visa be more beneficial? Have you done the same?

Hi, yes im going to apply for a student visa subclass 575 since the iron program is a non aqf course... my friends who are there already have done the same, they said student visa is more beneficial since you are then legally entitled to work part time 40 hours per fortnight and you can be assured that the visa that they will issue to you will entirely cover your course and usually the visa ends 1 month after your course which gives you time to reapply in ahpra and apply for visa extension or another visa. That's what I know about it.

Guys, from whom or where can I ask for MRSA clearance? Also, regarding vaccinations, how long's the interval of giving different types of vaccine?

By the way, I already had my medical exam at St.luke's extension clinic. According to nurses there, the next step is to wait for the visa. It's been6days since I had my medical exam. I didn't receive any confirmation that my medical exam has been forwarded for visa processing on my email account. Is this ok? Do I need to follow-up or 'll just wait for an email?thanks again.. :)

Hi, if you dont mind me asking type of visa are you applying for? Thanks

Are you for IHNA? St Luke's could do the MRSA Clearance for you. :)

Thanks..do I need to give a lab request or can I just go there and ask for that test? Yes I will taking the bridging course in IHNA on May 11 Melbourne. How about you? :)

Hi, im going to apply for a student visa subclass 575... im wondering if there's someone here who has applied or is going to apply for that type of visa too...

You could just go there and do the test. I'm in IHNA march 30 batch currently undergoing the program. You need to complete everything before going here because it's expensive to get some of your vaccinations here. Good luck!

who has tried doing their BP with MCIE? --feedbacks please

Hi all

after long tym..

i am going to start my bp in IHNA perth april 13.. Anyone der?

Hi, Guys.

Do I need to secure an appointment with VFS to lodge my Visa application?

Or I can just walk in and submit my documents?

Thank you in advance!

I lodge my application for ahpra eligibility letter in ahpra last december 2014, completed all the required documents emailed to me by my RO in march 2015 and I recieved an email today stating that my application will be assessed by the board on april 15, 2015. My concern is that my RO did not ask me to pass the criteria 2, 3 and 8. When I called ahpra about this they told me that there's no need for me to.process the criteria 2, 3 and 8 because there are so many nurses from the Philippines who took the BP course. Anyone here who have the same experience with me in which their RO did not require them to.pass the docs of criteria 2, 3 and 8 and yet received their LOE?

hello, do you know of any consultancy agency in philippines who can help process ahpra application? thanks..

you

ms_cog86. You can try australian migration specialist, they have facebook account. They are in partnership with the many schools in australia and they assist in ahpra application for free. I have attended their orientation before, they are located in makati. You can keep in touch with them, just add their fb account. By the way, I personally lodge my ahpra application without agency assistance.
