hi mates! i just want to share my experience as i know it would be beneficial for us filo nurses. lodge my application last march 11 & received an email just this morning that they are currently reviewing my credentials & be given to the national board. i was a bit flabbergasted & thought perhaps they are now really expediting their process this year, trying to hit the 3-4weeks processing time :) i am just wondering whether i could now push thru with the vaccinations. thank you guys

Hi @nurse_opawg!
Please update us regarding your application 😊
Hello! Anyone here who is taking IRON Program at IHNA Melbourne on May 2015? I am supposed to be included in March batch but I requested to transfer to May 2015. All my requirements are ready including my visa prior March class but I need to give 30days resignation notice to my employer. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to avail IHNA Melbourne's free accommodation which will be until March batch only. IHNA Melbourne told me that accommodation will be 200aud/week. It's a bit pricey, but I still availed it because I do not know anyone in Melbourne.

Ask your school which type of visa you need to apply for to be sure..
$200 is the usual weekly room rate in Melbourne. Since IHNA is like 20 minutes from Melbourne cbd, rates are expected to be within that range or even higher. Now if you want cheaper accommodations, you can avail ihna's accommodation for about 2 weeks then you can always look online for cheaper alternative.
