Good day!Anybody here who have accomplished the IHNA immunization requirement before? Do you know where to get MRSA Clearance from the Philippines? Or I could have it as soon as I arrive for the intake? Thanks in advance!
Hi purply20
My pinay co worker who studied in IhNa said that she had her MRSA clearance done in the phil (sorry dunno where in phil.) but when she arrived in Au (perth) IhNa asked her to do the MRSa clearance again. So i think its best for you to just do it in here if they will just ask you to re do it once you arrived in Au. S
I too still need to have that MRSa clearance done. Went to my GP but he insisted that the test is not applicable in Melbourne or in Queensland which I currently live. I contacted the admission officer and advised her that I will just do theMrSa clearance when I get in Melbourne.
2 more weeks to go.. See you in Melbourne :)

I'm very excited to get the ball rolling too. :) I went to a physician here and they gave me a request for a throat swab. It was normal so they did not require me to have it cultured and gave me MRSA Clearance. It also helped that I did not work in a hospital setting in the last year so I was low risk in her assessment.
By the way, when do you plan to arrive in the accommodation facility? Did you get the chance to ask them when can we start to stay there? I'll arrive on a Friday so I think it's too early to check in by that time. Please send me a PM if you got an update. See you soonest! God bless! :)
Hi all,Which state would be the quickest to release LOE's and what is the time frame nowadays to get it after lodging application with AHPRA? Tia! :)
Based from my experience and of those in this forum who submitted the application after the new IQNM standard, the time frame and location differs. Mine was reviewed 5 months after submitting it to NSW while it took some more than a year because they were caught in the middle of the transition. I guess the only advice we could give you is to ascertain the completeness of the documents that you will submit. Follow the format and instructions thoroughly;and always check the website for updates regarding any changes in the process. Be ready to wait. Good luck on you application. God bless! :)
I have read all of the threads about AHPRA and I think I'm having an information overload!
How do I go about it? Should I sit the IELTS first and then pass the documents? Do I pass my documents (AGOS form, statement of service, etc) to AHPRA and let the other institutions (PRC, BC, CHED, PACUCOA) to send my documents directly to them? I'm so confused! Any help will be greatly appreciated 😊
Hi purply20
I will try and ring ihna tomorrow if they will allow early check in. Are you arriving on the 20th?
i will be in melbourne on the 27th but will stay in a hotel somewhere in CBD first then will move in the accommodation on the 29th.
do you have any relatives or friends to stay with just in case they will not allow you to check in early?
Btw. I am unable to send a p.m. I will just post here to update you.
cheers ! :)

I clarified with IHNA and they told me that we can check in the accommodation on the 28th (just inform them first). I am flying out on the 25th and will be staying in Geelong until the 28th and then stay with IHNA. I was also told that in the event we need accommodation during the placement period, it would be 200/week. Not too bad.

Hi there!
I think you should sit the IELTS exam first. Get all 7 and collate all needed documentation while waiting for your results. In my case I sent my AGOS 40 and the other documents almost at the same time. Was assessed by the board in less than 5 months but the decision letter was sent to me after another month. Goodluck!
