Just from comparisons sendembong. I recommend Monash due to the weight the name carries. I will ask official02 to view your post, he will be able to give you more insight on Monash Uni as a program provider.

@shenderella: You're likely to enjoy Mildura. I'm glad that you picked an intake not during summer as Mildura can be very hot.

You can have it done in Aus but I wouldn't recommend it: you'll need to see a GP first and then have the order written up. You can have yourself tested from any laboratories but un my experience it is easier to have it done through a hospital. The test would be Nose and Throat Gram Stain and Culture Sensitivity. Someone who will be with me on Mar 30 intake told me that she just had the nasal one done at SLMC for 525php. She said she had her results after 2 days, significantly shorter than the standards gs/cs which is 5 days.

Thank you for this info. That is not good news for me since I live a plane ride away from Manila. I'll try to look up for nearby hospitals that conducts this test. Hopefully, I will be joining the March 30 with you also. See you!

Majai,

If you complete an approved bridging program you will gain registration. This is what a registration officer at AHPRA informed me.

Technically it's a yes and no. Once the BP is completed we will still have to re-apply with an updated AGOS-40 along with current documents (CoGS, IELTS/OET, fit2work, certificate from school) minus the Philippine BSN school credentials. The process is not automatic. The BP will in essence qualify us for registration but we will still have to apply for it.
