It has been noted by all forumers here that these educational institutions have dates that are to expire end of september.
All 3 have made statements that they have entered their paperwork to ANMAC and are confident to be re assessed favourably to continue, in fact they are advertising for next year and a few forumers here have stated they are enrolled for courses for next year.
Few Forumers have rung ANMAC and have been told to wait until september, AHPRA just refer to ANMAC.
It is stated in ANMAC rules that any education institution that is not accredited is not to take on applicants for the course.
It is highly unlikely that these courses will be closed down, as the pressure to have bridging programs open to overseas nurses who need them from these training organisations owners, shareholders, and some do gooders in the community who think there is massive nursing shortage here, to keep them open.
It is interesting that these 3 schools have taken so long to be re-accredited, when other institutions can organise and get recredentialling in the correct space of time.
Makes you wonder what was lacking in their courses that needed so long to fix and to complete and assess the paperwork for the re credentialling. I have always been an advocate that education for RN"S should always take place in a university/college environment and not in for profit training organisations. It is stated in ANMAC , is where education for RN's is to be.
Being in Australia, it would be quite illegal to continue taking peoples money if you were not going to continue, so to answer your questions, we will have to wait, but these courses, should be okay and is most likely just a political thing that is holding thingsup.
thank you ceridwyn.. I am just wondering, some of the forumers here are bound for october this year intakes in the said 3 schools.. Given the validity of until september 30, 2012.. What will happen? if the accreditation will not be approved before the commencement date of their intakes? Can they register to AHPRA later on> or will it cause a problem when they register to AHPRA for license?
Hi everyone!
I am for September 2012 intake at IHNA. However, due to some additional medical exams, the result of my visa application might not be determined before the program starts. Anybody who has the same case? Is your schedule of intaked moved to a latter date? Do you need to pay another enrollment fee?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my enquirires.

hi HepB,
pm sent..kindly check..thanks
what i mean here is that I CANNOT PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTS IN CATEGORIES ABCD (because ive never been to OZ), so i would have to send my license, PRC certificate and the likes to prove my identity. So, i just want to ask if there's a need for me to send a separate letter stating that I cannot provide papers for categories abcd or maybe I could just attach those said documents as a proof... thanks anyway
No need to send an explanation letter. Just provide certified true copies of your proof of identity, like Philippine passport, Philippine license, Philippine registration certificate, birth certificate.
THANK U SO MUCH FOR THE REPLY...:are all said documents would be in photocopies but should be notarized.am i correct? No need to send an explanation letter. yes, photocopy the original documents and have a notary public notarize the said documents. I requested the certificate of good standing from PRC and informed that them that it was for mailing directly to AHPRA. There is an option in the form wherein you will tick if you're applying for RN or EN
Hi guys :) I am weighing my options between ihna melbourne feb 2013 intake and acfe? I already have my offer letter from ihnawherein i have until aug16 to pay the enrolment fee while i will still have to undergo the skype interview of acfe on the 19th .If given the chance which would you choose? Do i have to settle with ihna, provided i already have my offer letter but will take longer, which is 6mons from now before the bp starts or take my chances on acfe wherein there's a possibility that i would be accepted into their october 2012(tentative) or jan 2013 intake, with the addtl pressure of the upcoming skype interview? Both schools have a tf of aud$12500... Thanks in advance :) can someone enlighten me on this :)
