For pringxoxo and stereo

My case officer replied to my email and she told me that she will organise a letter of extension for me for three months. As easy as that. Regarding your concer, she said that she will bring it to the attention of her manager.

Thanks @marklouiemarco

I just passed my online exam at IHNA. What's going to happen next? Does this mean i don't have to undergo phone interview anymore? According to the generic email i received just now, they will contact me for further details. Anybody who enrolled at IHNA help me please? Thanks

Hi marklouiemarco,

Give them 1 week to review your docs, after that, if you still haven't heard from them, give them a call for follow-up. Then the assessing officer will tell you whether you meet all the requirements and everything. On my case, they told me that since I passed the online exam, no more interview is needed. I am just not 100% sure if its like that to everyone and every case. Anyway, they will tell you once they call you or email you. After receiving the call from the assessing officer, she/he will inform you that your documents are already transferred to admission officer that will later on send you the offer letter.. :specs:

Hey micaella26.

My LOE will also be expiring next year, August 2013. Since you said you're planning to take the May 2013 intake, you're going to be finishing the program sometime in August. So your LOE would've been expired by then. Would you still be considered for registration by AHPRA even if your LOE is already expired because the LOE is ONLY for the bridging program? Or do you still need a valid LOE to be considered for registration after the bridging program?

Deakin and LTU were the schools that I had in mind but both are already full for the Jan 2013 intake. I haven't tried CON yet but i'm pretty sure it is too. Their intake after this year, according to their app form, starts February.

Hi mbtaRN,

I already got APHRA VIC response to my query and my case officer informed me that I have to finish the bridging program before my LOE expires as they don't give any extension to this. They won't consider me for registration if I did not comply to the given validity period.

In this case, I will not pursue my plan at LTU anymore and look for other training institutes who have available intakes this year and early next year.

Guys,

ahpra's reply:

Dear Ms Perez

As per numerous previous emails no extensions are given to bridging course eligibility letters. You have not and will not be granted an extension on expiry date, you have until the 5th December 2012 to successfully complete a board approved bridging program.

Please take note of your ahpra's expiry date.

Hi patringrn,

I am still waiting for AHPRA's reply. I know for sure that it would be like this also.

Hi patringrn,

I received the same response too from APHRA VIC. My case officer told me that I would not be considered for registration if I finished my BP beyond my LOE expiry date. Mine is expiring on 27th July 2013.

Please look for a school as early as now and please ask when the specific date you BP will end. Mine was just days after but still not considered.

I just gave them a call and was told that i would have to FINISH THE COURSE before the LOE expires..

don not worry. I think that it all depends on your case officers. as long as you get the email form them for consideration than you will be okay. I gave them a call before and was told that its okay as long as the bridging program starts before the expiration of the LOE.

Good thing I asked again because they gave me a different answer next. that I may encounter problems after the bridging course because of my LOE. And a while ago I got my final answer. Wow I don't know what to do next...

I sent an email to her too.. still no reponse...what hurts is that I'm just asking for "days" as an extension.. and still was not considered :(

to: Stereo and patringrn,

yeah.. we will get over this thing sooner.. Anyways, we still have options like re-application.. Though it will hurt (financial and emotional as me too is also asking for just 2 weeks extension), I know there are a lot of good reasons for this. Aja!..
