  1. My visa doesn't say any VALID for 1 year. And when I emailed the officer, he told me that his letter is "to confirm that you are not allowed to travel AFTER 12 Jan 2013" - that means my MULTIPLE VISA is only from this day until 12 Jan 2013 (less than a month from now). Although, my visa states that my length of stay is: 3 months (enough to finish the course if I enter 3rd of Jan), the point of having been given the MULTIPLE is my main concern. My visa is quite weird compared to all. I was able to talk to one of the customer representative giving all the real reason of my appeal to them, to allow me have the privilege of using the MULTIPLE entry. For the 3-month long course, something might happen, and I might be needing to go back for a short while, that means - I will need to apply a new visa to enter Au. I even asked them to check if they can have it extended even just enough time for me to finish the course, so I won't be needing to worry about the possibility of visa problem within that time. They say, they will have to talk to the case officer, who happened to be not replying anything to me.
  2. Hi.. danceinstructor, Can't send you pm. I might need your words on my case. Thanks.
  3. Hi danceinstructor, I applied here in Singapore.. I wish I could seek help in DIAC Philippines. I am still waiting for the response here in Sg. It's unreasonable to give Multiple visa within 2 months.
  4. Hi marklouiemarco, I know. Its really really weird. I had a very disappointing experience on my visa application here. Date of issue: 12 Nov 2012 Entries: Multiple Last Date of Arrival: 12 Jan 2013 I asked the officer why they gave me Multiple entry having 2 months validity only. I haven't receive any reply. I'll still wait for a short while for their explanation before I try to ask some clarification to other department. If only I knew that this will happen, I should have applied on the high commission in Manila. My declared travel date is Jan 3, 2013. To sum it up, I was only been given 2 months from the date of my visa issue. And what was the most confusing and disappointing is that they have issued "MULTIPLE" that I could only use 1 week after my declared travel date.
  5. hi marc, i got a very hard time processing my visa here in Sg. it took me more than a month and now, i received my visa having "multiple entry" but the last date of arrival should be january 12,2013. My expected travel date was first week of Jan 2013 and its really really confusing that they gave me multiple entry but i will definitely wont be able to use it because the validity is only like a week from my declared travel date.. Actually, I have gone through a very stressful visa application here.. (I guess, they are not familiar on the cases of nurses for meeting ahpra requirements)..
  6. hi nurses, I would justl like to ask those who had their visa 456 approved if you guys have the word "last date of arrival" on you visa grant letter? can anyone help me what is the length or interval of the validity to grant date of the visa? i appreciate those who could help me on this. thanks.

  10. Re-call: Anyone for IHNA January intake in Melbourne here?
  11. Hi marklouiemarco, If your going for IHNA, enclosed on their course information booklet is the need to have the OSHC and they listed HBA and Medibank.. I got my insurance via HBA which is now under BUPA HBA is joining Bupa - Bupa.. They offer certain types of health insurance depending on the type of visa you are applying for.. Like mine, I have my classic visitor visa (in compliance with subclass 456) which is around $89/month and the coverage is really good.. You could try it also..
  12. hi red_hot_chili_oreo, I have applied my health insurance under BUPA (Overseas Visitors Health Cover Plans for Australia - Bupa).. They have the most specific list of required insurance for certain Visas.. You can choose there. I choose the classic visitor health plan which I paid $89+ for the first month.. After paying, they will give you the letter to be shown on the immigration as part of requirements.
  13. Hi there, this forum is for registration in AHPRA (Australia).. There's a search box at the top of this page where you could type in NZ work or something for you to be on the right forum. :)
  14. Hi marklouiemarco, I was about to message you that I am already for January intake in IHNA Melbourne and that we could call them for you to have the slot but then I found out that I was late coz you're already in for Feb's intake.. :) Maybe, i'll just see you then..
