Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

Obviously, the people from your school have no knowledge about their own institution. You should have told them to let you talk to someone who has knowledge. It's annoying.

Just like the other poster said, go on your own to CHED and bring certified copies of Diploma, TOR, RLE and AHPRA pro forma letter and your own request letter. Its a generic thing to them, they call it CAV. The branding happens with the pro forma letter of AHPRA.

You said it right. As much as possible, I wouldn't want to argue with them but I couldn't contain myself. They were tossing me around, asking one staff-to-another. Anyways, I am still waiting for the school documents (CHED requirements) and will do as advised. Thanks again!

do you really need to have ALL your seminars and trainings be notarized?

are u from the uae? do u know anyone who processed their application from the uae?

Guys I need help. AHPRAis asking for "Request for Accreditation-Program Study" in support to criterion 2. My school is PAASCU accredited however the office is in Manila and my parents are in DAvao. If I ask CHED to provide this, would it be accepted? HAs anyone tried this?

Did you study in davao? You can ask for it in CHED davao.

did anyone here in allnurses hear the rumour that the bridging program will change from 3 months to 1 year? is it true that it is one of the reasons why ahpra is delaying the applications?

a migration agent told me that AHPRA will soon give eligibility only for university conversion program. hope it's not true. the wait has been frustrating, and this would be a real disappointment if they do decide to do this.

That would be bad news for us. I guess we should send our applications sooner then so that we will not be affected by whatever new regulations that they choose to impose. Let's pray it won't happen though.

Hello elcee, have you received further extension of time of assessment? You said from your post last July 16, that yours ended July 10. Was that your first extension you are talking about? If you received further extension, may I just know who sent it to you, the registration officer hndling your case or from "donotreply"? Thank you.

@maine1987 mine ended july 10, and ahpra requested another 90 days for the assessment. yeah i am really hoping it will come out the soonest.
