Hello po, with regards to IQNM2, my university asked me what to give me, what docs should they send to APHRA po? and is it ok for the school to give the sealed document to me but addressed to APHRA, and il just be the one to send it to APHRA? also with CHED what do they send. and with PRC is it only just the good standing APHRA requires? thank you po
Thanks for the heads up ceridwyn although I'm already well aware of everything that you said.
Maine1987, I'm surprised that you seem surprised. I was hoping you'd figured it out already. You see, us RN's in the Philippines are in a surplus with high unemployment/underemployment rate. Most if employed are abused by their employers in terms of workload and pay. So I guess this is why so many of us are wanting to go abroad even if there's no guaranteed work there. Being in a better country will bring better opportunities because the difficulty of landing a job is just the same from where we come from but if we ever finally land one in the country we wanted to go to it will be far better and really rewarding compared to having a job back home.
I'm not disregarding the opinions you guys are giving and I'm thankful that you guys are concerned. But this is the only way out after wasting so much time, money, and effort trying to find my way being a nurse in a country where hope is just but a word.
It seems that each week nurses join and have the same concerns. Most of us have been waiting for our LOE's for about 7 to 8 months now and getting indefinite update due to the high volume of applicants. I have learned that we should have more patience at this time since all we can do is wait. I am the type of applicant who emails my officer weekly and get the same response. I think the last time they released LOE's was last May. Let's continue to pray and hope it will come the soonest!:)
May I know how you came to know who is the officer in charge of your papers?

Hello Majai:) I am sorry but we cannot tell the names of our CO's. I knew about it because of this site as well and a school that I am interested in contacted me that month to let me contact my CO about my papers. After that no news about the release of LOE's.

Hello po. Im very confused po. Hope you guys can help me. Im in Australia now, married to an Australian. I've been working as a nurse for more than 5 years in the Philippines. Now, I wanted to register to APHRA, I saw the APHRA requirements, and im confused po, if I apply first to them or have all the school, CHED, PRC requirements first before applying. I really dont understand how the CHED or my university will pass my records to APHRA if I havent applied yet. Thank you po for all your comments
