I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Have a lil prob gett'n hold of my good standing here.. (Currently working-middle east) whew! Very difficult to process my application while working outside phils... Especially with the new set of requirements... For those people applying from outside phils (eg. Middle east)... I didnt apply for any agency to help me on my application.. I did it independently... It saves you from spending cash... You can actually do it by yourself... At first... I was hesitant because i cant imagine myself able to comply all those docs ( well almost! Gett'n there)...
I was in the middle east too when i processed my ahpra;)
Hi guys... I just received the letter from my CO that i need to submit the additional requirement in order for them to continue my application. Anyone here with the same prob as mine... New requirements for aphra...
You can check the website for the list of new requirements. http://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/Registration-and-Endorsement/International/criteria-nurses.aspx
Roxie,Actually, you are right that your preferred route is shorter in duration despite the heavy price tag but only when it comes to AHPRA registration. But you are actually wrong regarding the 2 years graduate visa, which I assume is the subclass 485. In order to qualify for that, you would have to study 2 years in Australia.
Hi! I've talked to UC about this and they told me that once I finished my degree, I'll be able to qualify for "Skilled Independent visa (subclass 885)". For some reason, they still insist that I'll be able to qualify for post-study work stream which is under the visa you mentioned so I don't know what to believe. XD
Hi everyone. can i ask what the school needs to send directly to ahpra? is it just the letter template from ahpra? or including the original tor, course decription? because I have read that the school should forward as well proof that I studied pharmacology.
Your school needs to send documents for criterion 2 and 8 directly to AHPRA. With criterion 8, you need to ask your school to provide document stating that you studied pharmacology, if it is not indicated in your course description and otr.

Well, a simple search on the immigration website will tell you that the subclass 885 is closed for new applications. That was an old visa subclass prior to SkillSelect visas. Please visit the immigration website. What is UC by the way? I would run away from them. LOL.

Hi there iamnomad! It's me again. Sorry I just thought I'd ask you about this. I can't help it. I have posted all the requirements that was asked from me (finally) to IQNM applications last week. Twas via express post from here in QLD and for sure as I've tracked it too, they already got it. The other requirements being asked from CHED, PRC, etc. are on their way as well or might have already been received by AHPRA at the moment. I expected to hear from them maybe through an email like an acknowledgement of the receipt of all those documents but no I haven't. I check my email everyday. Now I'd like to ask, how does it work from here? Should I just wait or ring them? Please if you could enlighten me, would appreciate it so much. Thank you.
